You can bypass Covid testing only if you are fully vaccinated AND it has been at least 14 days since your final shot. 2. If you're just shy of the 14 day period (like we were) you must provide a negative covid test upon arrival AND take another rapid test 5 days later. 2. Even if you’re vaccinated, you must pay $60 (per person) for a health visa. 3. It’s good to have a printer on-board, or print your necessary docs before you head out! She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. She also has an electric swing keel which makes her draft very shallow and easy to enter in shallow water. The cockpit conundrum continues to confuse and befuddle as we move on with the build, this time tackling the aft seats. turns out the Port side seat is a fair bit narrower than the Starboard which is actually a good thing as Jack's bedroom will be on the Starboard side. We've finally got good strong seats now in the aft of the cockpit so we have somewhere to sit and drink tea and eat biscuits without worrying it'll collapse underneath us. My engine breaks down in the middle of the ocean. I was pushing upwind with the motor to get a better angle to the wind. The seas was rough and we were barely making any headway with just the sails. I had to figure out a way to fix it so we could continue on. So I turn on the engine and pushed on motor sailing. But then the engine stopped. Breaking down in a doldrum sucked. It was a rough sail. And we had to take refuge on the nearest island late at night. And in the morning we were able to continue on in glorious sailing conditions all the way back to Mindelo Bay. Well, we finally left the dock, again. But this. time, it's for our "forever trip". Saying farewell to all of our family and friend was difficult. But we'll make several trips home each year. I need my grand baby fixes. We'll stop in Key West, Marathon, and Ft. Lauderdale for some boat work. Then we make our way to Bimini and the Exumas. From there, who knows? In this video, we duck some crappy weather in Boca Grand Pass, get some ink in Key West, our dinghy engine finally craps out, and we install some cool additions to the boat in Ft. Lauderdale. And we have some great music from Annika Chambers who we met at the Big Blues Bender in 2019. She’s awesome! Thanks for joining our adventure.
