Ciao Amici! Really. Ya, there are some rules, but whether you're living full time in your RV, getting away for the weekend, or traveling across the US, you can camp for free on BLM land or US Forest Service Land. The trick is finding the perfect place to RV or tent camp. In this video, we share tips and tricks for finding a place to dispersed camp using an app called The Dyrt. We try to find a dispersed camping spot for our 5th wheel by going deep into the forest. 🔥 Try The Dyrt For Free Here! 🔥 https://bit.ly/3yXG3Q5 Boondocking is fun. We started living full time in our RV boondocking in Bear Lake. But that wasn't on public land so wasn't really dispersed camping. We spent most of our time after that in state parks and national parks. It wasn't free camping, but it was fairly inexpensive. We didn't really know how to dispersed camp, even as new full-time rvers. Fortunately, with The Dyrt Pro, you can pretty easily find dispersed camping across the US with their Map Layers feature. You can see where USFS and BLM land is, and most of that is fair game for dispersed camping. The Dyrt camping app has a free version which is great - but the paid version gives you the map layers feature as well as offline maps. 🟢🟢🟢 Check this out!! 1500 Insanely awesome places to stay with your RV for just $75 a year! We departed on an overnight passage south from Mazatlán to the spectacular Isla Isabel, arriving just in time for the swell to start rolling in to the questionable anchorage! It took many, many dives to free the chain from boulders, and a near miss with the stern anchor chafing on rocks. We finally got comfortable and are treated to one of the most vibrant sunsets ever, which more than made up for all of the troubles! We take a road trip to pick up the lead for Tapatya's keel and to visit Frederik, a Dutch/Danish boat builder. Meanwhile, Hazel's engine is finally up and running again and we make a good start on the installation of her Raymarine Evolution autopilot. This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build. These videos take a lot of time and effort to make, in what is already a time-intensive project. Your support in watching, subscribing and sharing these videos is very much appreciated. In this episode we take a few days rest ,swimming and snorkelling before Blown Away departs Meganisi and heads south towards the land of SPARTA , famed for it's ruthless warriors and unconquered terrains, legend has it that the Spartans threw their deformed new borns over the cliffs and into the seas. Whilst rounding the southern tip of Lefkas we find a fellow sailor in trouble and stop to assist, we take them under a long line tow to safety and spend the night in Sivota. The following day we leave for Ithaka to meet up with a you tube channel that we watch called Sailing Exodus (Wim and Anja) and swop sailing stories over a coffee. The sailing between the island of Lefkada and Ithaka was beautiful , a beam reach in 15 knots of wind from North West gave us six to seven knots of boat speed and Blown Away lifted her skirt and danced. We jump between Ibiza and its beautiful sister island Formentera and sail up to the magical island of Es Vedra. We make our way across to Denia on mainland Spain and have some amazing R&R time on land, visiting family. We're playing catch up to real time so lots happened in this one. Thanks for watching! For over a decade now, marine biologist and Jeanneau owner, Andreas B. Heide has sailed his Sun Fast 37, Barba, from his home in Stavanger, Norway to the ice packs of the high arctic to swim with, study, and document the health and well-being of the world’s largest marine mammals, whales. Growing up on the western coast of Norway, Andreas’ passion and love for the sea was with him from the start. And because Jeanneau shares this same passion and because his work with the Orcas and protecting the marine environment is in complete alignment with our own values of marine conservation, it was an easy decision to make when we were asked to help sponsor this year’s expedition, Arctic Sense 2021, a four-month expedition to the archipelago islands of Svalbard located just 600 nautical miles south of the North Pole. __________________________________________________________________ Since 1957, Jeanneau has been dedicated to building quality sailboats and powerboats for those of us who share a passion for being on the water. Today, Jeanneau is a global leader in yacht production for both power and sailboats. Wherever there is water, you will find our owners' enjoying their Jeanneaus. __________________________________________________________________ Photo credits: 2311-By Andreas B. STARTING A BETTER TRIP TO MD
Short movie created by our cruise director Alex for Triton Bay divers resort using mixed footage from his trips onboard the Seven Seas and Triton Bay Divers. Triton Bay is far away and quite isolated. This makes it one of the few gems left in the underwater world and has become one of the favorite spots for many underwater photographers/videographers. Shallow reefs with plenty of light, incredibly healthy and diverse coral, and loads of fish. And of course whale sharks! https://www.thesevenseas.net/triton-bay-cinematic/

It takes a team of coaches to produce an Olympic medallist. The Australian Sailing High Performance program supports a “coaching chain” where each coach contributes to the development of the athlete at their age and stage of development on and off the water. The Australian Sailing Team Coaching Chain series will tell the story of the Coaching Chain of some of our Olympic athletes, starting with Manly 16ft Skiffs junior and Olympic silver medallist Lisa Darmanin.
Hi everyone! This week we sail to the historic city of Syracuse before saying goodbye to our winter home of Sicily and making our way to the unprotected shores of southern Italy. Along the way mother nature shows us just how capricious she can be. This week you also get to see just how much we lose our minds each time we see dolphins. Can't Sail? Staying Busy In The Off Season. Episode 37 We have been asked some questions on what we do in the sailing "off season" here on an island in the middle of the Great Lake Michigan. Well, we didn't take too much of videos, but I compiled some from Fall/Spring. Have fun seeing what we do outside of sailing season on Beaver Island, Michigan! _________________________________________________________________________ To help support this new sailing channel by becoming a Patreon, click here: https://www.patreon.com/Windward2Eden ___________________________________________________________________________ #WinterSailing #DeerSkinning #BeaverIsland
2018 Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 Located In: San Carlos, Mexico Year: 2018 Hull Material: GRP Molded Sandwich Construction Yachtworld Number: 3715824 Beneteau has a reputation for being a “fast” cruiser and Blue Dream definitely lives up to this reputation. Fully stocked for a prolonged cruise she can easily cruise at 7-8 knots with only 15 knots of wind. Easy to sail, all lines lead to the cockpit and are superbly organized. The cockpit is comfy with teak slats on the seats and deck. Dual helms and rudders give good handling, stability and visibility in all conditions. The swim deck is easy to dive or swim from. Additions are the solar arch, dingy davit and dingy engine hoist (2019). There is a dodger, bimini and splash guard for comfort in all weather conditions. Bow thrusters make her easy to dock and maneuver. The plumb bow, full-length hull chine and wide beam creates superior stability and exceptional high-performance sailing. The fractional rig sail plan combined with the angled twin rudders create a well-balanced sailboat in all wind conditions. As a two cabin cruising edition, she comes with factory air conditioning and inverter. There is a large lazarette to starboard that can hold bikes, paddle boards and other water toys. There are large below decks storage for extra fuel, water, dive gear, etc. Accommodations: The Oceanis 38.1’s clever design multiplies the living spaces in the saloon and offers greater privacy in the owner cabin, while maintaining the visual perspective that her opening to the bow offered in previous iterations. With multiple layout options, this version is the 2C/1H layout with L-shaped galley and separate shower. The entire interior is spacious, light and airy. As you enter below, you’ll find the galley immediately to port, navigation station/head to starboard, dining saloon midships, and luxurious forward cabin. The beautiful L-shaped galley makes a facing seat saloon arrangement possible. Galley boasts a large single sink, gimballed 2-burner stove and oven, large pantry, and a 130-L fridge/freezer with top and front-opening access. The navigation station includes electrical panels with AC/DC breakers and lockers for stowage of nav. materials. The chart table is both practical and effective, folding away to leave more room in the saloon. The dining space has been well optimized to allow eight people to comfortably sit around the center table. The table itself conveniently folds down when not in use and includes an array of wine bottle holders. Ample storage can be found under the settees and numerous floor hatches. Unique double-door access to forward cabin offers wonderful privacy, featuring a double bed with slatted base, and a pleasant view of the boat interior when the doors are open. For ultimate comfort, the stand-up shower is separate from the head. The electric head and shower room are located aft of the navigation station. The head includes a single sink whose faucet extends to become a second shower. Leading aft, the Oceanis 38.1 features a second large stateroom containing two hatches and a king-size bed with slatted base. Of course, ample storage is provided with shelving and storage cabinet. The cabin conveniently also contains the vessel’s battery breakers for winches and LED cabin lights. This vessel is located in beautiful San Carlos Sonora, Mexico, A short 250 mile drive on a safe 4 lane highway from Nogales, Az.
