We decided to remake our catamaran cockpit table out of beautiful Cherry! The process of building the new cockpit table was straight forward as we could use the old table as a pattern! We think this is going to significantly improve the over all appearance and function of our Catamaran Sailboat! I built this new cockpit table in Ohio and I used my Dads wood shop while we were up their visiting family. It's nice to get use out of the old tools! While in Ohio we also had the opportunity to go to IKEA and shop for small space storage solutions. IKEA has done a great job creating innovative storage and we are sure to use many items on our Sailing Catamaran! Thanks for watching! Dinghy cruising Lake Macquarie

Why oh why do we always decide to move the boat on a weekend or holiday while we are in south Florida?! This time we decide to make a twenty two miles jump from Hollywood, Florida to No Name Harbor on Key Biscayne on a Saturday during spring break 😂. I don't think we have ever seen more boat traffic, many of them passing us within a few feet. Passing boats have throbbing bass and dancing revelers on the foredeck. Sometimes you have no choice but to just laugh at the absurdity of it all! We manage to safely complete the passage an anchor off Key Biscayne. We get down to fixing an issue with our toilet as we continue to prepare the boat for long passages. Our toilet has been flooding with sea water when are on a starboard tack. We suspect the anti siphon valve and finally install a replacement. With that dirty project completed we go on a dinghy mission to explore Stiltsville and take in the Miami skyline from the water. Sailing into Solstice | South Okanagan Trip Part 2... We woke up to another beautiful day and a short 38 km trip into Penticton. Started with a motor into the middle of the lake, then a Jib only run down South into the Yacht Club. It was perfect, 20km of wind and 3 foot waves🌊 gave us the easiest sailing day we ever could imagine and a Father's day regatta with the most beautiful spinnakers doing what they do best.⛵ We woke up with sailboats and wildlife surrounding us in this beautiful marina/community. Coffee, dinghy ride and off to some Wineries in Naramata. But don't forget a visit from our spirit animal🐢 Grape escapes was the Vendor of choice with a bit of research and our Champ leading the way was Mel.. he knows his stuff and is passionate as it gets about Wines.. highly recommend him and this company. We went to 5 amazing vineyards 🍷 and 1 distillery🍹 They all had their unique flair and amazing wine makers to make the experience perfect 🥂 And topped the whole day off with a beach dinner. Likt en gigantiskt grön lunga breder Påskbergsskogen ut sig i centrala Varberg. Men visste du att i slutet på 1800-talet så fanns inte den här skogen som vi idag tar för självklar? Den är nämligen planterad av Småfåglarnes Vänner som vi på Varbergs Sparbank sponsrat under tre decennier mellan 1888-1921. 💡 Mannen bakom idén att plantera dessa stora mängder träd under 1800-talets andra hälft var rektorn Herman Rodhe. Han hade en övertygelse om att både människor, fågellivet och djurlivet mår väl av att ha grönska omkring sig. 🐦 Därför bildade han ”Planteringssällskapet Småfåglarnes vänner” vars medlemmar hade till uppgift att plantera och sköta anläggningen, ofta i sällskap med hans skolelever. 🧡 Redan 1888 påbörjade vi på Varbergs Sparbank vårt ekonomiska stöd till planteringssällskapet. Första tillfället med en summa av 400 kr och fram till år 1921 donerade banken sammanlagt 11 700 kr till förmån för grönskande träd, sjungande fåglar och njutande människor. Vi hoppas att du njuter av att vandra omkring i Påskbergsskogen idag lika mycket som vi. 🌳

Sailing in the Gulf of Gökova can be a strange experience, as we found out when heading East to eventually arrive at the beautiful Cleopatra's Island. The sea state here even on a calm day can defy logic with sea swell sometimes reaching over a metre with little to no wind. Regardless we enter the Gulf first stopping in Bodrum before again heading East to a small bay where we come across the strangest of bunk beds!
