This episode is all about our hard top over the cockpit. It was made using more salvaged parts from the 2007 America's Cup. This time we have got a bit of Swedish vibe going on. The foredeck on the AC boats had a HUGE hatch with which to launch their spinnakers and it was perfect as the observation hatch in our hard top. We also recycled spreaders and jumpers to mount it to the boat. The steering consoles were given a make over and now are laminated firmly in place as part of the covering structure. The crowning glory would have to be our McConaghy carbon fibre trim tab wheels which we fitted to replace our stainless steel steering wheels. It's the final days, 5 and 6, of the Aegean Regatta and the Corinthian crews all vote that the event has been one of the best and they will all be back in 2022.

And to make your stay aboard even more comfortable she is fitted out with air conditioning, a Webasto heating system, and a washing machine. In short; easy to sail, comfortable to live on, and ready for a new owner.

Recently , about fifty people had the pleasure of sailing onboard the catamarans of several Nautitech owners in the beautiful Bassin d'Arcachon in France. ON THE PROGRAM OF THIS DAY : In the morning, the skippers started the journey, sailing to the Banc de la Vigne. It is at anchor that the crews took the time to swim, to exchange and to share this so privileged moment. Then everyone has been invited for a convivial lunch in an oyster hut in the Village du Canon. After Lunch, the catamarans raced under the beautiful sun direction the Banc d'Arguin. To close this exceptionnal day, all the participants met for a friendly evening at our partner's AC Yachting. The program was a cocktail dinner with entertainment and award ceremonies for participants. About the Boat ''SY ROYAL ATENEA'' was built in Holland in 1973. Her original name was ''Antares''.She is a Jongert Trewes Design with 5mm Steel Hull and rigged as a Ketch with Aluminium Masts. Her LOA is 19.3m and she has a beam of 4.6m with a draft of 2.98m She weighs 33t and she can cruise at 7 kts with the engine and 8-10 kts on sail depending on the wind. She is fairly comfortable with 15 to 20 kts of wind. Freshwater capacity to last over 2 weeks and a fuel range of 13 days steaming. About the Boat ''SY Red Current'' is a Southerly 31 with the construction of GRP and rigged as a sloop with Aluminium Mast. Her LOA is 31 feet and she has a beam of 10 feet with a draft of 7 feet. She also has an electric swing keel which makes her draft very shallow and easy to enter in shallow water. After our sporty passage from St Thomas to Bermuda, it’s now time for the second half (unless we want to be stuck there). People might think we spend a lot of time up on the mast, but after the beating Talisman took on the way out, it seemed foolish not to take an extended look at how things were holding together. In the end, all the cotter pins, fasteners, and clevis pins were inspected, plus the various lines and wire rope. A section of our jib halyard was cut out as it was getting chafed.
