2021’s LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian Starfighter (75316) is a pretty awesome play set. It is quite similar to the 2012 Pre Vizla’s Mandalorian Starfighter, but seeing as that set was released almost 10 years, ago, I would bet that most people interested in this set do not have the 2012 version. I think most people will love the minifig selection in this set: Bo-Katan Kryze, Gar Saxon, and a Mandalorian Loyalist. I love having three awesome minifigs in a $60 set. Here is a little tour of the Havørn, a 70ft Norwegian Fishing Cutter build completely from scratch by my dad. I have grown up while he was building this ship and I can't even explain how much this ship means to me. I am so proud of my dad! Of course there is so much more to tell about all the technical aspects, engine, rig, building process etc - but that may have to wait for another time. UPDATE: My dad is now finally sailing the oceans again! After building for over 20 years Havørn is finished ( well as finished as a ship gets...) and already did a successful round to the Caribbean and back to Europe and on his way south again.

In this epsiode we FINALLY have our boat blasted below the waterline to remove the old paint and rust and we pain her bottom sides using JOTUN two pack epoxy. Melissa continues to work alone, doing a job which really should have been tackled by a whole team., she valiantly battles on by herself, assisted by the always entertaining Captain Jack (who is keeping well out of the way of the paint fumes of course). Andy is again conspicuous by his absence as he had to be at his day job but will be back on task soon as the blasting reveals more areas which need cutting out and welding up. Remember we're doing all of this so we can go full time cruising as a sailing family in a few years time. This is obviously a huge refit and refurbishment of this big, old, abandoned steel yacht and it's not only time consuming, it's complicated and quite expensive so we really do value any help we can get, whether it's helpful advice and comments on the video or gifts through our Amazon Wishlist or actual contributions through Patreon, Paypal and Ko-Fi. WE sail around the Big Island of Hawaii to the iconic navigator bay of Captain Cook. After a couple days of exploring inland of the Big Island, we now sail around the dramatic West Coast of Hawaii and see more waterfalls than anyone could count on two hands. An overnight sail brings us over the Kona side to Kealakekua Bay or also known as Captain Cook's Bay. We are extra super careful where we decide to anchor as this is a protected bay and Hawaii has some really tight regulations on anchoring. We snorkel some of the most colorful coral reefs and plentiful spots on then entire state of Hawaii as well as feel the historical presence of Captain Cook and his crew when they first arrived back in the day. Quand on aspire à un nouveau projet, nous avons tendance à faire souvent des raccourcis en se comparant à ceux ou celles qui ont fait la même chose que nous, avant nous. Il est facile de nourrir des jalousies ou des frustrations qui finissent par nous décourager d'avancer. Dans cette capsule, nous t'encourageons à t'inspirer de ceux qui ont réussi pour nourrir ton rêve et ton ambition, tout en construisant sur les éléments que tu maîtrises. Lorsque j’ai évoqué pour la première fois l’option de vivre sur un bateau il y a bientôt 8 ans, les premières réactions de Lynne étaient plutôt réservées. « On a le temps », « on a pas assez d’argent », « C’est un projet de retraite », « Comment va t’on faire professionnellement »… La grande majorité des arguments avancés étaient tous orientés pour ne pas le faire et se lancer. Et en commençant à regarder ou observer celles et ceux qui avaient franchi le pas, là aussi il y avait toujours un argument pour dire que leurs conditions étaient bien meilleures que les nôtres pour se lancer. Or la capacité à changer de vie n’est pas forcément liée uniquement aux conditions matérielles, financières ou à de la chance. Il n’y a jamais de meilleur moment pour entreprendre un changement. C’est plutôt une question de volonté et d’être en mesure de se créer les conditions pour pouvoir l’accomplir. Le jour où nous avons décidé de franchir le pas, ce qui nous a le plus aidé a été de nous inspirer de ceux qui avaient réussi plutôt que de nous comparer à eux. En effet, il ne faut pas tomber dans le piège de regarder tout ce que les autres ont ou font. Nous ne connaissons jamais assez leur histoire, on ne voit souvent que la partie émergée de l’iceberg mais jamais les efforts et les sacrifices que ce changement a demandé. Alors au lieu d’avancer sur son projet, on nourrit des frustrations, de la jalousie et il est facile de se retrouver bloqué ou découragé. Le plus important réside avant tout dans le fait de construire un projet de changement à sa mesure, avec ses moyens du moment, et de bâtir sur des éléments que nous pouvons maîtriser. Tout le reste n’est que superflu et contribue à nous faire douter ou à nous frustrer. Avant tout, entreprendre un changement de vie doit nous permettre de nous épanouir, de nous rapprocher de nos valeurs et de nos convictions. Le sens que l’on donne à notre projet est la clé pour pouvoir réussir et être en mesure de passer par-dessus les difficultés et les défis qui vont surgir devant nous. Et au fur et à mesure que l’on avance, il est essentiel de nourrir et de valoriser le positif en regardant le chemin que l’on a parcouru plutôt que toutes les choses que nous n’avons pas encore accomplies. C’est un peu l’art de la pensée positive tout en s’entourant et s’inspirant de personnes qui nous apportent l’énergie positive et qui nous donne chaque jour un peu plus l’envie d’avancer et de nous découvrir!
