Zweiter Teil der Ferien auf Zubenubi, einem Katamaran Typ Privilège 615, auf den Balearen. Wir waren unterwegs von Formentera via Ibiza nach Mallorca. Nebst dem reinen Geniessen von Sonne und dem warmen Meer war vor allem Kartenspielen angesagt. Nachdem unsere Gäste Zubenubi verlassen hatten, kümmerten wir uns um die Reparatur der Badeleiter, welche auf Ibiza leider die letzte Stufe verloren hatte. Second part of the hollidays on Zubenubi, a catamaran type Privilège 615, in the Balearic Islands. We were on the way from Formentera via Ibiza to Mallorca. Besides enjoying the sun and the warm sea, we played cards. After our guests had left Zubenubi, we took care of the repair of the swimming ladder, which unfortunately had lost the last step on Ibiza.

City Sailing branched out to the land for a day of Land Survival, we used the best trainers and teamed up with the Bear Grills Survival Survival Academy. The group had attended a City Sailing Sea Survival as well as this Land Survival so they can survival anywhere! We landed in the depths of Sussex to be introduced to the basics of survival going through how to find north, knots, pacing, how to build shelters, light fires, foraging for food ending up with preparing food from animals. Panique en Galice Après notre traversée du golfe de Gascogne, à nous la vie à l’espagnole ! Toujours accompagnées de notre matelote cheffe Aude, nous découvrons avec plaisir les beautés de la côte galicienne et la gentillesse de ses habitants. Mais, entre 2 tapas, les navigations ne sont pas de tout repos et cela finira même par un remorquage en pleine nuit juste avant le cap Finisterre… Réussira-t-on à rejoindre le petit paradis des îles Cies tant attendu ? Au menu : De la cerveza et des tapas, une bande de « bombeiros españolos », du soleil et des rias à gogo, quelques coups de pagaie, encore des vagues dans la tronche, des eaux cristallines, beaucoup d’intermèdes musicaux de qualité et enfin un peu de vent portant. Il nome del progetto che ho voluto per il mio primo viaggio è TRI. Spesso confondono il nome del progetto collegandolo al tipo di barca che ho utilizzato per la prima navigazione ovvero, un TRImarano. In realtà volevo semplicemente onorare il mio paese, l'Italia ed il suo TRIcolore. In questo video trovi alcune e sopratutto primissime immagini del trimarano scelto per quello che poi diventerà il primo Giro d'Italia compiuto in solitaria da parte di un navigatore con disabilità motorie. Queste immagini sono girate a Sestri Levante, in Liguria nei primi giorni di gennaio 2017. Ma da dove nasce l'idea del progetto TRI? Tutto si collega con il mio battesimo in barca a vela, con il sogno di tornare nel posto dove tutto è iniziato, di tornarci partendo dalle mie terre d'origine, in barca a vela e sopratutto in Solitaria. Attraversare l'Atlantico per tornare ai Caraibi, chi non vorrebbe farlo? Io ho pure una motivazione in più e qualche ostacolo da superare ma non mollo! But we were able to develop a system to detect squalls and avoid injuries in the future. What you need to know about changing windshield wipers and avoiding costly damage. It is very common for windshields to be damaged during wiper changes, according to a man we interviewed. He told us he receives around two calls a week from dealerships breaking windshields when they replace wipers. Moreover, we were told that they rarely let the customer know if their window has been dinged. Therefore, on the following hot day, you will return to find a crack in your windshield. Because the wiper arm is a spring-loaded metal projectile and your windshield is glass, it is essential to remove them with care. You risk scratching or cracking the windshield if you make a clumsy move. If you are really worried, you may want to put a towel over the window.  Ensure the new wiper blade is ready to go on before removing the old one. The old wiper should be removed by lifting it away from the windshield. I never let go of the wiper blade arm, even though the arm should remain in the up position. While holding the wiper arm, depress the tap on the underside of the wiper blade that secures it to the arm. When the tab is depressed, the wiper blade should slide off. How To Install New Wiper Blades Re-installing the wiper blade should be done in reverse of what you did to remove it. Please refer to the video or picture if you are unsure. As you can see, the plastic clip that attaches the wiper to the metal arm has a flat end and a curved end. Turn the plastic clip so that the curve points toward the wiper blade. With the curve facing the wiper blade, slide the metal wiper rod hook through the wiper blade sides. Push the rod far enough so that the rod hook can pass over the plastic clip. There should be a click when the hook is slid over the clip. Try sliding the blade back off to ensure a secure grip.
