I cruise up the Rio Guadiana and visit Sanlúcar in Spain and Alcoutim on the other side in Portugal. Both places are worth a visit. From there I sail to Tavira, also a very beautiful town at the Algarve. We continue to the island Culatra, which we approach from the east. Here the passage is not that easy because the chart is incorrect and it is very shallow. But thanks to the forward scan, we can get through well. We're super excited that we received the AC unit. Even more so to have a turn key bow thruster installed. More progress toward making Isabella a home. New cushions, UV water filter, being able to shower on the boat, and improvements to the sound system. We'd rather be sailing. The bow thruster is a dual propeller SidePower SE170/250TC Thruster 24V with 462 lbs of thrust. It was expertly installed by Florida Bow Thrusters. Our UV water filter is a Acuva ArrowMAX 2.0 UV-LED. It comes with a nice stainless smart faucet and is mounted in the galley. We love our new cushions and new Dometic Envirocomfort Ecd16k-Hv Ac Retrofit Kit. On our way home from Costa Rica we had a 12-hour layover, so we overpaid for a tiny space and slept at the airport. I mean, we tried. It did not go well. The 21, 2 meters high pyramids, start as shallow as 10 meters and go down to about 25.The several groups at various depths that can be enjoyed by all divers. Today it’s a beautiful artificial reef teaming with marine life. Take your time to look inside the pyramids to find all sorts of macro marine life, while you'll find quite a few stingrays in the surrounding sandy areas. The amazing natural reef at around 15 meters is where you even more colourful marine life with thousands of beautiful Anthias darting in-and-out of the reef.
