Enfin nous sommes arrivés à Lanzarote aux Canaries , l'île la plus proche ! après 6 heures de navigation éprouvantes , une tempête avec une houle importante, des vagues hautes frappent le côté droit du voilier, le vent est fort , la voile a été réduite ! le Rerioa penche sur le coté, il est vraiment malmené par les vagues importantes ! enfin nous arrivons au Port de Lanzarote à Arrecife , exténués , nous n' avons pas dormi de la nuit ! mais le Rerioa est arrivé sans aucun dommage ! We have some calm and idyllic days, swimming in rope behind the boat, fishing and celebrating Alf´s birthday. The idyll ends abruptly, when we go for a swim in a bit rougher conditions. We use a harness when we hang after the boat. The hook breaks and we have a man over board!
