Over the years we have been afraid of water on the deck of our boat due to a leaky teak toe rail. Now, after repairing it with epoxy and fiberglass there are NO More Leaks and it's time to start sailing this boat. We are a family preparing to sail around the world in our electric sailboat.

With 10 days to spare until our Panama Canal Transit, we have a bit of time to waste so we sail to Rio Chagres. After a bit of jungle exploring, the crew decides they want to play Tarzan into the crocodile infested waters. We then head back to Shelter Bay Marina to do more transit prep and wait for our next crew member to come onboard. Want to help support our video productions? We recently started a Patreon account. We bought an old Beneteau oceanis 461sailingyacht and will fix it up to sail from bonaire across the Pacific ocean to Hawaii. Unfortunately there is a bit more broken on this yacht then we hoped for but with a bit of elbow greace and persistance we hope to get it done before the hurricane saison starts. In this episode we are finding more broken stuff on the boat but also manage to change the v belt and alternator, fix the showers, see a bit of Curaca, clean the hull freediving and show you a bit of our personal life. And if you like this vlog, please help us out and hit that SUBSCRIBE button. And you can ask us everything in the comments, we will reply to every single one. Every Friday we have a brand new vlog for you and if you really like this sailing vlog then don't forget to check out our previous vlogs and all the lessons nature has taught us :) And if you really really really like us ;) Become a monthly member so we can save up a little for boat repairs and camera equipment so we can keep making these videos. It looks like our first attempt at a daggerboard case was a fail, so let's hope the second time is the charm!! Within this episode you'll see what our first attempt looked like once we got it off the mold - and see the crack from the topside, of which made the whole project go awry. But, stocked once again with all the supplies we need, it's time for attempt two. We have perfect weather, with a cooler morning, giving us plenty of time to apply resin to our 8 sheets of fiberglass, and get them secured under our bag before turning our pump on. Then it warms up in the afternoon to a great curing temperature, we hope!! Just to be safe we let it sit overnight with heaters, and go back to check the next morning to see if it was a success or a failure. We hope you enjoy!! Much love from Annapolis! In this video on board our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran, we sail through the Bahamas to Long Island, Rum Cay, and Conception Island. In the process, we broke our Penn Senator fishing reel trying to land a Barracuda. Jeff drove on the wrong side of the road in Long Island before he killed our GoPro Hero 7 while diving Dean's Blue Hole. (They aren't meant to dive past 33'.) We installed a new jib halyard on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran, because the old one was old and swollen - Just Like Jeff! Or so he says. Then, I had such an adventure being hoisted up the mast to check the rigging, where I promptly got seasick from all the swaying 70 feet in the air. Who gets seasick in the air? Finally, we landed a 36" Mahi with our Penn Squall and went up the river at Conception Island where we found some beautiful Spotted Eagle Rays swimming in formation. We had a great time, and we hope that you will, too, as we continue our journey through The Bahamas. Thanks for watching!

Shayne is on a different performance catamaran in this video, delivering a Gunboat 68 in crystal blue waters. Tough job huh? Well it's actually not all fun and games as this clip of the journey shows. In this episode the magnificent Gunboat is sailing into 20+kt headwinds and sleeping proves a challenge to those not on watch and trying to get a rest. Proof that no matter the design of catamaran you can't escape the fact that you are going fast into knarly weather and you're gonna know all about it. Did we make the right decision sailing on the outside from Nantucket to Cape May? We think so. We were in a bit of a rush trying to outrun Hurricane Henri. The fastest route is a direct one which is what we took. We had very little wind for 1.5 days and the final night made up for all the "no wind" with a lot of wind and very confused seas. It was rough. We spent 2 days in Cape May resting up and preparing for our journey up the Delaware River. The first stop was at Cohansey River. We stopped there to stage for the C&D Canal, which we would tackle the next day. We were on a tight schedule given our haul out date in Deltaville so we didn't have much time to play and explore. We hope you enjoy the journey and our experience traveling the East Coast. #sailing #sailboat #sailingprojects #HURRICANEHENRI #NANTUCKET #CAPEMAY #MASSACHUSETTS #NEWJERSEY NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT! WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET TO KNOW US MORE DEEPLY? At Jacks Bay on Great Guana Cay we struggle with anchoring on what looks like a sandy bottom, but it's actually sand over rock, until we get way close to the beautiful beach. Exploring takes us to South Gaulin Cay, beside Bitter Guana Cay, where we encounter some very friendly iguanas. We take 'Imp' to a nearby set of shallow coral heads to dive on them and see what nature has to offer under the sea. Rounded off with another test flight for 'Halo', our DJI Mavic Mini II, we've barely touched the marvels of Great Guana Cay. After almost 4 months cruising the Kimberley without any services, we arrive at the remote pearling town of Broome. Timestamps if you like to Jump Right In: 00:00 Intro 00:40 Polishing Pearl Oyster Shells 02:35 Humpback Whale and Calf Drone Shot 03:16 Cape Leveque 08:56 Mud Flats into Broome Town Beach WHO ARE WE? We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022. We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change. We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams. #broome #drone #seawind1260 #kimberley #circumnavigationaustralia #seawindcats

Tune in for a close-up look at how service expert Brad Favelle and his team work around the clock, repairing any rips, tears, or fails throughout the regatta; a service offered to all participating yachts. Every week is a completely new adventure, both small and significant. We never know if dolphins will show up to make our day, if around the next bend we will encounter some sketchy shoaling and run aground (thankfully... we haven't...YET), or both. Every anchorage is a new experience, trying to pick the best spot in relation to the other boats and the predicted weather patterns while we call that place home. Every day, though, is a chance to learn by doing something new. And for us, every mile has been new experience, an opportunity to learn and grow. And so... without further ado, join us somewhere on the Intracoastal Waterway.

As part of our Safety and Security consulting branch, here is a simple video reminding international operations the importance of Vehicle Safety Checks. Make sure your drivers understand Tread Wear Indicators. The statistics speak for themselves: – Nearly 1.3 million lives are claimed by road traffic accidents every year; – As much as 3% of the annual gross domestic product in some countries is lost due to road accidents; and – Road traffic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 years. These numbers must change; and they can change, through our collective, determined and concrete actions.

So, the sign goes in, Black Pig is hitched up to the car and we end the video with a nostalgic look back at the season.
