In this episode we commence our month of exploration on Fiji's big island of Viti Levu, focused first on Nadi town, followed by the capital city of Suva. Unfortunately we find Fiji's national museum to be closed, but still get a chance to explore much of the city on foot and by taxi. North of Suva we explore the Colo-i-Suva Nature Park, which is a protected area characterised by jungle canopy, fresh water pools, waterfalls, and trails. Well what can I say, the fiddly jobs and bad news just kept coming! That "rusty bit" and "small leak" turned out to be a rather large hole and quite a lot of water. Apart from being interrupted by leaks, in this video I fit vinyl under the bed, re-purpose a kitchen cupboard, and adjust the bottom shelf of the bookcase. In other news I emptied the toilet again...that job just keeps needing doing! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I tackle the leaks and re-model the bookcase. Thanks for joining me!
