S1E18 - Boom Bang Hi Nautic Voyagers, Happy Eater holidays! Spring is upon us, and the race is on to get the catamaran in the water. This week we tackle the enviable task of straightening the bent boom and strengthen it with splints. I manage to muster up some local muscle to rescue a couple of engines from the donor boat. S1E17 Beam Builder Welcome, Nautic Voyagers! In this episode, we look at joining the broken front beam of the catamaran (Nautic Voyager). We have taken the good parts off a donor beam and built one good beam from two damaged beams.

This week we arrive at Bradfords marina, Grand Bahamas, to collect a mast which had been left behind. The mast was damaged during hurricane Dorian and we need to ascertain whether it's worth saving or do we replace it, for the princely sum of $30,000. Tutorial on splicing Dyneema, included.
