Featuring the McConaghy 68 performance multihull sailing off the coast of Cannes, France in 2025.
This week we finally move onto our mountain property and start settling into life on the ridge. After spending months preparing the land — clearing trees, grading, running utilities, and shaping a flat spot — it feels good to wake up here and actually live on the place we’ve been working on for so long. We get the trailer set up, organize the odds and ends from the campground, set up the girls’ play tent, and begin figuring out our daily rhythm up here. I also take on one important project before winter: tilling and seeding the main flat so we can get grass established and avoid a muddy mess once the cold, wet weather hits. Isabella helped me spread the straw, which made the whole job feel a lot more meaningful. There’s also a fun break from the work as Desiree finishes the girls’ Halloween costumes, and we all head into town as our little “biker gang.” Life on the mountain is starting to take shape, and we’re excited to share what living here actually looks like as we continue building our homestead. New to the channel? We’re Jordan and Desiree, and we’re building our mountain homestead from scratch, documenting every success, mistake, and lesson along the way. 👉 Subscribe and follow our journey! @ProjectAtticus ➤ Love our videos? In this video, we drop the mooring in the SW of Bora Bora and head over to the East side, passing through the most dangerous channel we have ever been in, but we are rewarded by swimming with great sea life. Getting to Heiva from here is quite difficult, but we manage to experience the wildest coprah competition with flying axes and coconut husks. And we run into our favorite resident of Bora Bora. Here are the tracks for the SAFER way to go around the East part of the island: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kSQM4669ROpv3gTmjbtTB_GfxeD355Vr NEW TO OUR CHANNEL? We are Eileen and Brown Councill. Welcome to our channel and a glimpse into our life adventure! 2020 was a year of uncertainty and change (for all of us, right?), but we overcame the challenges and decided it was time to chase our dream, to sail around the world! Did I mention that we had very NO sailing experience? Before leaving Qingdao, China, our home of 4 years, we sold almost all of our earthly possessions and started our international search to find the right sailboat that we would call "home." After 5 months of unanticipated twists and turns, we found what we were looking for, a used Leopard 44' Catamaran located in St. Lucia. So, here begins our journey, filled with unmatched excitement and honestly, a bit of trepidation as well. We have much to learn as we travel the world on our floating home and we intend to document that journey and share it with you. We are so glad you have decided to join us, and we hope that you will find our story so compelling that it will inspire you to chase your dreams too! As a viewer, we consider you to be part of our family and look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to comment on our videos and ask questions. We will do our best to answer every correspondence! All we ask is that you have patience with us as we work really hard to improve our camera/video techniques and ability to tell a story. Hopefully, you will be as BLOWN AWAY from watching, as we are in experiencing and producing our adventures! HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT US? If you wish to support our video efforts, all we ask is that you SUBSCRIBE, give a THUMBS UP, SHARE our videos with your friends, AND COMMENT!

Punching 25 knots of wind SOUTH down the wild and remote east coast of Australia! In this episode, we leave Lockhart River where we have been hiding out from a strong blow that came through, and we are making our way south weaving through reefs, islands, and open stretches of coastline — with 25 knots of wind on the nose! It’s a wet and wild passage, but that’s part of the adventure when you’re sailing through Far North Queensland’s untamed coast. From dodging reefs to battling side swell, we share the real and raw side of life aboard our aluminum performance catamaran. Join us as we chase a weather window, push southbound through strong trade winds, and experience the raw beauty (and power!) of Australia’s Coral Sea coast. 📍 Route: Lockhart River → Cape Melville, QLD Chapters 00:00 – Welcome Aboard! 00:45 – Southbound from Lockhart River 04:59 – Weaving Between Reefs & Islands 06:12 – The Trek South Continues 09:01 – Hit by the Side Swell 11:50 – Cape Melville & 25 Knots on the Nose 15:38 – Holding Course in 25 Knots – We Didn’t Lose It! ---------------------------------- 🎉 WANT TO KEEP VIDEOS COMING?

Sailing through remote Japan has been nothing short of magical. Apart from the new icy sea air and misty mornings, we’ve loved undertaking short passages between the many rural fishing villages. Watching our boys discover a new culture, and making friends along the way, has made this chapter even more special for Riles and I 💙 Have you caught up on our full adventure Sailing Japan series yet? I’ll link it if you haven’t, you don’t want to miss it! xx
Rescue at Sea: We Saved a Life On Our Sailboat When Whale Watching turns into a Rescue Mission Ep 92
What was meant to be a calm and beautiful day of sailing in Moreton Bay, Australia turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of our liveaboard sailing journey so far. We left the marina for a relaxing day sail, ready to enjoy the sunshine, spot migrating whales, and soak up the freedom of life aboard our sailboat. But as every sailor knows — the ocean can change everything in an instant. While out enjoying the water, we spotted something unusual in the distance. Within moments, we realized someone was in serious trouble. What began as a peaceful day of whale watching from our sailboat suddenly became a real-life sea rescue. In this episode, we take you through every moment — from the initial discovery to the adrenaline-fueled rescue, and finally the emotional aftermath of helping save a life at sea. This video is a raw and honest look into what it means to live and travel by sailboat. Sailing around the world isn’t just about sunsets and island hopping — it’s about seamanship, responsibility, and being prepared for anything. Whether you’re a sailor, boat owner, or someone dreaming of the liveaboard lifestyle, this episode shows the real side of ocean adventure sailing and the unexpected challenges of life afloat. We share how our training, teamwork, and quick thinking helped us respond in time — and how moments like these remind us why respect for the sea is everything. It’s a powerful reminder that the ocean is both beautiful and unpredictable, and that every day out sailing is a lesson in awareness, courage, and gratitude. We’re now getting ready to sail around the world full-time, documenting our journey across oceans, islands, and continents. Follow along as we chase whales, explore remote anchorages, and live our dream of full-time cruising and sailboat life. Subscribe to join our liveaboard sailing adventures as we prepare for our world circumnavigation! We’re sharing what it’s really like to live aboard a sailboat while exploring Australia’s coastline, with tips for beginner sailors, sailing families, and anyone curious about the cruising lifestyle. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit the bell for weekly episodes packed with sailing tips, ocean adventures, and life on a boat. It's been two years since our first sail in @SailingAstridTheWombat actually that means it's been a year and a half since our first sail ever. A sail that stretched 700 nautical miles from Townsville in Far North Queensland Australia to Moreton Bay in Brisbane Queensland. We are now preparing to move onboard and to sail around the world. Join us to see the challenges as we continue to learn to sail, prepare our boat and make changes so our boat feels like a home. We are moving onboard in just a few weeks so our sailing dream is getting closer and closer. Each experience we have and each new sailing skill learnt just keeps bringing us closer to taking off to sail around the world in our Beneteau Oceanis 430 @SailingAstridTheWombat living our boat life dream. We are Gav and Shezz an Aussie couple with a dream to sail and scuba dive around the world. We bought our Beneteau Oceanis 430 in October 2023 with zero sailing experience but the belief that we can do this. We have filmed our journey from looking for boats, buying the boat and downsizing our house so we can liveaboard and all the messy wonderful life stuff in between. Join us now as we start to get our boat prepared for liveaboard life. As new sailors we want to share all of our learnings and keep it real in our videos. We want to show step by step what it takes to choose a boat, buy the boat and learn how to sail. Our sailing learning curve is steep so come along with us as we learn and grow as liveaboard sailors. We promise you will have a laugh! Boat: White Shadow is a Van De Stadt ‘Seal’ 36 (11 metres). She is hand made in steel, 2004, with a round bilge (hull) and a modified coach roof. This makes her a ‘one off’ and in my opinion the most beautiful Van De Stadt 36 ever built. The camera gear: Main camera is a Canon R50 with a Rode External mic with a sponge and dead kitten attached. Back up is a Canon 200d. Action scenes and small blogging is done with an Insta 360 Ace2. Some boat shots are done with a Dji gimbal camera. I also use an Insta 360 and have two drones, a Magic mini2 and Mavic pro Editing: Final cut pro on a Macbook. Most of the material for each video is filmed over a period of several weeks or so and the editing of each episode is normally done over several days. This process can take longer if original music is used or permissions are needed for copyrighted materials etc. There are also times when filming, editing and uploading is not possible due to being at sea or in locations with no internet access. Content: I have found that filming and releasing material over a period of time is better than doing ‘vlog’ style videos and trying to make episodes out of whats happened in a week, regardless if it’s good content or not. By filming over a period of time I can be more selective in what goes into each video. My aim is to avoid ‘bland and mundane’ and have at least one or two exciting and interesting events in every video. Every video has to be entertaining. Comments and being at sea: I love reading your comments. Most weeks Im able to read everyone. I cant reply to everybody but I do read and enjoy them. Keep them coming! There are times that It might seem I'm not on the internet for certain periods, this is normally when Im at sea on passage. While Im out on the Ocean I have limited communications with the outside World. From Golden Globe Race 2026 Skipper Daniel Pinsky ( 35, ISRAEL #GGR2026 provisional entrant) First Sail with his New #GGR2026 Boat! BOB PERRY’s BABA 35 “Exodus”: What a day! My first sail aboard “Exodus,” my new Baba 35 designed by Bob Perry — and what an introduction to life at sea. The wind, the waves, and a few “wow” moments made this first date unforgettable. From battling headwinds all day to deciding whether to anchor or keep sailing through the night… this is real sailing life, raw and unfiltered. As the sun sets low over the water, I’m learning every sound, every move, every breath of my new home at sea. The auto-pilot groans, the sea calms, and I sail on through the night toward Deltaville, dreaming of that first morning coffee at anchor. Come along for the first sail of Exodus — a taste of what’s to come on my road (or wave) to the Golden Globe Race 2026. 🌍⛵ #GGR2026 #Baba35 #Exodus #BobPerry #SoloSailing #OceanAdventure #SailingLife #FirstSail #Sailboat #AroundTheWorld
