It would be creepy without a resident ghost, but some claim there are many. The most well-known is probably the former asylum doctor who is said to have tortured some of his patients. In the end, he is said to have gone mad himself, seeing some of the island’s ghosts – and threw himself from the bell tower. While the fall didn’t immediately kill him, he died from his wounds not long after.

** NOW SOLD ** Millennium is a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.2. Launched in 2000, this small to mid-sized cruiser punches well above her weight in terms of features, comfort, and sailability. The cockpit gives all we want in a modern yacht – good access to the water via the semi-opening transom, auto-pilot, clear visibility, plus the instruments and genoa sheets are easily within reach of the helm. Millennium has enjoyed significant updates recently… all new standing rigging in just 2022, new bimini / dodger / infill / boom bag in 2021, plus various instrumentation, batteries, electrical systems have been updated recently. This is a two-cabin layout which allows for a good size head and shower plus a massive cockpit locker. There is a practical galley with fridge, dedicated nav station, and a seriously comfy saloon with folding table. The saloon can be used for additional berths.

Seattle multihull designer Kurt Hughes specified the Shiny Side Down Method for the hull sides on this 48' custom charter catamaran. This vessel is being built by Pedigree Catamarans in Washington and Woodbridge "Woody" Brown Jr., son of Hawaiian legend Woodbridge "Woody" Parker Brown (1912–2008), an American surfer and watercraft designer best known for inventing the modern catamaran. This sailing charter catamaran will sail onto Waikiki Beach where her little sister Mana Kai is currently sailing her rainbow sails.

“Pacific Green” is the perfect cruising sailboat for the PNW. In-mast furling, electric windlass, full cockpit enclosure and the highly desirable 3 cabin layout ticks all the boxes with lots of room for crew or guests. Welcome to the crew Barnacle! We are so happy that we finally were able to get the boat doggy we had been dreaming about for so many years. Barnacle is a Maltese/Poodle mix (or Maltipoo) and at the time this video is filmed, she is a twelve weeks old puppy that weighs 3.2 pounds (but at the time this video is released, she has already gotten bigger). We are so excited to finally be able to introduce her to you! She is the absolute best and we love her to death. Life has become even more chaotic than it was, but it will settle down when she gets out of puppyhood, and she is so worth it in the meantime. This is Episode 58 of our adventure. Our ninth and last week sailing the west coast of France. We make full use of our time in Jersey with a visit to Elizabeth Castle. Kelvin then has to make the tough call as a visit to A&E brings bad news. We become actual five go sailing but have trouble finding a suitable weather window to leave the island. We make poor decisions in our passage planning and are forced to turn back. We are given advice from the harbour master which goes against everything we have been taught but it finally gets us off the Island and across the channel to England. We are a family of five with plans for an epic adventure, sailing around the world. We have bought a boat we have to gut it, rebuild it, sell all of our possessions and have the guts to cast off. WATT | INSEL | NORDSEE (Teil 1/3) Törn zwischen Weser, Jade, Nordsee und den Ostfriesischen Inseln. Moin, in diesen Filmbeiträgen fahre ich Einhand mit meinem Hund Rosi über das Wattengebiet "Hohe Weg" nach Wangerooge. Es ist im Jahr 2022 der erste Törn. Derzeit herrscht eine starke Tidenphase, da der Mond der Erde sehr nahe steht. Das Wasser läuft vor der Insel Minsener Oog sehr schnell ab und ich komme vor der Insel fest. We downsize over the last two years to. get small enough to move onto the boat. This is an important step towards leaving the dock for good. We still have upcoming projects to make us off the grid ready before we can leave.

We continue down the Inside Passage of Alaska visiting Tracy Arm, Baranof Hot Springs and Lake. We drop Brad and the boys in Ketchikan and continue all the way to the Ballard Locks in Seattle. Hello! This week we sail from Antigua to Guadeloupe, which is one of the French Caribbean islands. We didn't know much about the island before coming but we found there was so much to do and see here! Before setting off, we install our AcuvaTech UV filter tap which we're so glad we went for.
