It's a spectacular place framed with impressive limestone cliffs and wooded hinterland enclosing clear blue water. Noch vor Beginn der Hauptsaison der Fahrtensegler hoffen wir ohne Liegeplatzprobleme den Kleinen Belt und die Westküste Jütlands zu genießen. Die anfangs etwas rauen Bedingungen im Kleinen Belt lassen uns gut vorankommen, so dass viel Zeit bleibt, in den noch ruhigen Städtchen ausgiebig zu bummeln. Jeder, der auf der Ostsee segelt, will doch einmal nach Anholt, und hat man es endlich fertiggebracht, dann gehört man quasi zum Kreis der gestandenen Salzbuckel. Wenn aber in der Hochsaison zeitweise 400 Schiffe den kleinen Hafen hoffnungslos verstopfen, gibt es wenig Gründe Anholt anzulaufen. Es sei denn man liebt endlose Strände und - die beginnen gleich hinter der Hafenmole. Doch jetzt, gut drei Wochen vor Ferienbeginn – nichts wie hin. Nach Anholt wird noch in den Mariager-Fjord hineingeschaut und nach gut 2 Wochen sind wir endlich am Ziel. Im Revier der kurzen Distanzen und der vielen Brücken. Logstör, Mors, Thisted, Doverodde, Holstebro-Struer, Nissum, Thyboroen, Lemvig, Jegindö, Glyngöre, Nyköbing, Aalborg und Hals sind einige der Stationen aus dem Film, bevor der Bug über Aarhus, Samsö und Endelave wieder heimwärts zeigt. Ein Film für Liebhaber schöner Bilder aus dem Revier, auch wenn das Wetter nicht so ganz mitgespielt hat.

In this episode we I had another go at doing a unpolished, simple edit. No voiceover. No music. We head ashore in Peanut to check out the Aboriginal rock at at Art Creek. It’s worth the hike up the rocks as the art is amazing! We explore some more and Magnus does ashore to check out a freshwater spring. We’ve got friends coming and we need to empty the port aft cabin to make room for them. This is not a simple task! We collect water at Water Pipe Bay and then make our way to No Name Island. It’s a busy location with helicopters landing on the beach and many tourists! Richardson Bay has a long history of being a gathering place for the eclectic, creative and wealthy but most recently has gained notoriety for its local governments attempts to remove all liveaboards that they have nicknamed the "anchor outs" who have enjoyed living in rent-free boat homes in the Bay Area. Their boats, anchored just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, float illegally in the sightline of one of the country’s wealthiest zip codes. But now, as enforcement ramps up, their way of life could be coming to an end. Although our time in Richardson Bay was short, we had the opportunity to meet with some of the anchor outs who were the kindest people just trying to survive. In this video I describe my journey from lead acid, to lithium, to a Bluetti EB3A for powering my instruments and devices on my small sailboat. Link to review/purchase a Bluetti EB3A and support my channel: http://bit.ly/3HDOJBC My F-82R trimaran came with a Group 24 lead acid battery which was heavy and there was no battery monitor, so it was hard to tell how much power was going in, coming out, and how much there was left. I upgraded to a LiFePO4 battery which had an internal BMS and optional monitor, which was excellent, but then I also had to upgrade my charging infrastructure, which was increasing the cost, weight, and complexity beyond where I wanted it. I purchased a Bluietti AC50S after a storm that knocked out the power at my house for several days, which had a larger battery, but smaller inverter and also charged more slowly. I started using that in my boat and was considering doing a video on that, when Bluetti offered to send their newer EB3A. Our next stop in the Eastern Caribbean is the group of small islands just south of Guadeloupe - Les Saintes. This is a very laid back place. The main island, Terre-de-Haut, swells during the day as many people visit by ferry and small cruise ships stop in several days a week. But around three in the afternoon all the visitors start to depart and it is like a different place till around nine the next morning, when the visitors come again. We find some excellent snorkeling, as well as great baguettes, croissants, and French food in general.
