Manjack Cay dans le nord des Abacos, un petit coin super sympa qu'on a beaucoup apprécié. Le rythme s'écrase complètement, probablement qu'on aurait même réussi à s'ennuyer si nous n'avions pas eu de bébé. Malheureusement, la journée s'est très vite pimenté quand Malo à fait une crise d'allergie.

Aujourd'hui vendredi 3 février 2023, on profite d'une belle journée en mer à Marseillan dans le 34 sur l'étang de Thau. On embarque pour une promenade en bateau et pêche on fait découvrir à Notre fils, les paysages à couper le souffle. On essaye notre chance à la pêche et prend des souvenirs inoubliables. When we arrived at Perforated Point we had the anchorage all to ourselves for the first time since leaving Brisbane. Old Identity: I am hurt from my childhood which creates a feeling of hopelessness and nervousness. Deep down I am sad for myself and the world but I'm good at hiding it. I escape these negative emotions by having a good time. I don't want to chase money because those who have it appear miserable plus I believe consumerism is destroying the planet and creating suffering. Money was the biggest cause of stress in my family so I believe not caring about it helps me avoid suffering. Thinking about money stresses me out so I don't think about it. I am scared of failing in a relationship so I don't want one. I am extreme and go from victim to all my fault. I'm afraid to make goals, can't fail if I don't want it. I am hard on myself as a way of acting strong. I am out of control and repeat patterns of too much of a good time leading to set backs, hurting loved ones and suffering. I stopped wanting anything that resembles success (money, relationships, kids, career) to avoid the pain of failure. I AVOID CONFLICT. New Identity: I am full of hope and have the courage to clearly define my desires. I am confident and relaxed in all situations. Deep down there is a bubbling feeling of happiness and I love to share it with the world. I am grateful for my family and all of our struggles. I am this wonderful gift to the world thanks to my parents. Money is a magnifying glass into my soul and I will create an abundance of it in order to make a positive impact in the lives of my loved ones and the world. I am worthy of a healthy and enduring relationship and focus on what I can give in one. I am fully responsible for my life. Life happens for me not to me. I make goals and have the courage to fail giving them all I got. I forgive myself and always look to build myself up. I am able to celebrate with friends while remaining in control. I face conflict with a level head knowing I want the best for me and others. I have clearly defined wants and my habits bring them to me. Let's Go Baby

There has been A LOT of good boatwork going on for Mistress over the past few weeks and in this episode the focus is on the rather complicated engine box-companionway steps and getting the business end of the gas install well underway,... Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. When a Hurricane is headed towards your family, your home, your business, your entire life…What do you do? As captain of a boat, you make hundreds of decisions every day. Some big, some small, some inconsequential…but when the stakes are this high and the information available to you is changing by the hour, it’s a pretty heavy feeling knowing that this is one decision you ABSOLUTELY have to get right. As Hurricane Kay began to develop, we quickly realized that we needed to start making some moves- not only to try and create distance between ourselves and its projected path, but also because our insurance would only cover  anything that might happen to Delos in a named storm if we were north of a certain latitude.  But the decision of how we should respond was far from easy to make- as forecasts changed and information started reaching us from other cruisers in different locations, our heads started to spin a bit.  This was an extremely exhausting time for us mentally and emotionally...the anticipation, the unknowns, the weight of the decisions that we needed to make, the preparation, the anxiety...We hope you enjoy this episode as we explore some of these feelings, share how we go about making decisions like these and processing the information available to us, and take you through how we prepare for the serious weather that was headed our way. We sail our North American sailboat across the North Channel from Scotland to Northern Ireland. We show how we were able to plug our 110v sailboat into a marina for shore power in Europe or the United Kingdom where they run 220v.
