In this episode, I'm finally setting off for Shetland Islands. I have been planning this trip for a whole year and worked very hard to make my new boat ready for it. It finally happened! Besides some seasickness issues, the boat and the equipment performed remarkably well. There's several reasons to seasickness that I experienced; Coffee pre-departure, anxiety from not knowing how the boat would perform offshore, haven't sailed solo this far before. Sorry about the audio level problems which I couldn't adjust correctly. The boat; Mikkel 30, built in 1980 Norway 30ft. Masthead Skeg hung rudder Fin keel with bulb 3500kg Music; Mozart - Eine Kleine Nachtmusik https://youtu.be/OaTbNbna3HY?si=wCLjdM-3d3110E9b The road to you - Silent partner https://youtu.be/fHSIbFBhSIs?si=XMGWFwm0va4Mq823

First of all, sorry about the sound levels! In this episode, we are continuing our trip from Kristiansand to Just outside of Flekkefjord before heading towards west coast, which will be the next episode. I'm having some sound issues but it will get better as I get better at editing with time. Thanks for watching!
In this episode, I'm starting this years big journey towards Faroe Islands. First stop is Kristiansand starting from Arendal. I hope you enjoy the video :) Like & Sub if you like it! ?

The spring is finally here! Testing the boat with its new gadgets and equipment. Stayed on anchor for the first time and diesel heater kept me nice and warm all night. No luck on crabs but that was my fault for not doing it right but that's how we learn! Experimenting with some new filming techniques and frame rates. Filmed and edited on IPhone 14.
Hello! I still have more projects to do like, installing solar panels, new main sail, lazy bag +++. But the weather was quite bad to do outside projects until now. Plans: This years main goal will be sailing to Faroe Islands. I will of course make videos about sailing in Norway. Also want to try some different style videos instead of just usual vlogging. Me and Martha have sadly broken up quite a while ago due to having different goals in life and such. That means i will be mainly doing solo sailing onwards :)

Starting from New Year's Eve, it snowed non-stop for 6 days straight. Resulting in more than 1 meter snow within the first 3 days :ooo. All the cars were scattered around and got stuck. Public transport is out of order, people can't go to work or more like, people can't even open their doors? So I had to save my boat from overwhelming snow it had on top and the most reliable and fun way of getting there was skiing! It hasn't snowed like this in south Norway for decades!

Finally got to test my new boat a bit and i must say, it behaves exactly like i was hoping for! Cant wait to get her in good shape during winter and work my way towards Faroe Islands for the summer! ? This episode was a lot of fun to edit! Leave a comment below if you have any suggestions ?
Sailing from Horten in Oslo fjord to my hometown Arendal. This is the first trip with my new boat, Mikkelangelo. I had some issues with starting up the engine because the interior lights and 12v sockets were connected to start battery instead of house battery I found out? so the start battery was empty. Luckily, there was a car part shop nearby. I went there and bought a jump starter to get it going. I didn't filmed much when those things happened sadly. I'll make an episode about all the dumb mistakes I did later on as it was quite funny ? #norway #sailing #fjordnorway #sailingadventures #sailingboat #sailingpassion
Say hello to my friend Mikkelangelo! The boat: Mikkel 30 built in 1980, Norway. Designed by Freddy Mikkelsen 30 ft. Waterline length: 7.1 m Maximum beam: 3.05 m Draft: 1.6m Bulbed iron keel 1300 kg Weight: Either 3200 or 3700 Kg Full skeg hung rudder Masthead Sail area: 44.5 square meter Engine: Sole Mini 17. Based on a Mitsubishi engine block. I bought her a month ago for around 10.000 USD....unseen. At the time it came to market, i couldn't buy it as Fishcake wasn't sold yet. But guess what! Fishcake got sold while i was away at work (far away) and i just had to get this boat. We agreed on a price after i asked a ton of questions and i went for it. For me, this boat is perfect and i'm just in love! Some reasons for choosing this boat; --Beautiful lines -Small enough to handle solo while also being not too small to handle the seas -Fairly easy to maneuver in harbors -Well built -Newer engine -Masthead - Skeg hung rudder -Fantastic interior -No major issues Things that needs to be done; -Complete overhaul of the electrics (perfect winter project whooo!) -General maintenance of the engine -Add solars and newer batteries -New sprayhood -Mainsail: In acceptable condition but would like a new one for serious adventures
In this episode, me and my brother sail the fjords of Bergen during the summer with a Swedish built Maxi 84 which is 28ft. I have some exciting news about my plans but it's a bit too early to reveal everything. So, until the next video :) Music; Jeremy Soule - Ancient stones (pls don't take it down. I couldn't find a way to get licence for it) #sailing #norway #fjordnorway #bergen
Water tank-100 Liters stainless steel Diesel tank- 50 Liters stainless steel 100x2 Ah of lithium combined with 360W solar power This is a video for potential buyers. I've been working full time since I left Fishcake. If Fishcake doesn't sell I will most probably get back to Caribbean in January and continue with my adventures.
