Sometimes the dreams are substantiated with the income necessary to go ahead with a purchase, sometimes not...some ask for a yacht with an ice breaking hull, some for a yacht with a swimming pool, and some for yachts that are insanely fast. But it seems that EVERYBODY wants a yacht with a helipad. This vlog shows 5 of the finest yachts with helipads.

We organized, worked on the AC, goofed off on deck, tried to figure what the inside of the hatches should look like, and danced. While working on the AC we discovered a naughty knot transducer leak. It was simply not tightened enough. The 10 gauge wiring is in place between our panel and the aft sail locker and forward under the bed. New thru hulls are in place for intake and discharge. We have a new Dometic ECD 16k BTU AC unit with a 500 gph March pump. Still waiting for ductwork and registers. The plan is to purchase another setup for aft. The weather has been nice so no hurry. No, I did not make it to Cuba...I decided to head back to the San Blas Islands and to head north after that. On the way back there, a couple of things went wrong...and I had the feeling that maybe it was best to sell good old Karl and end this little adventure... When you live on a boat and travel full time getting back home to attend special events like weddings can be expensive and complicated (where do we leave the boat? Who can watch Jetty??). Unfortunately that means we usually have to take turns for our trips home. In this video Billy heads back to New York for two weeks while I hold down the fort in Grenada during prime hurricane season. In this episode we stumble upon some gorgeous reef, talk about our weather fax setup, and finally we set out to explore remote and quiet Punta Allen on foot. One of our favorite aspects of cruising is the ability to access places that are difficult to reach. To access Punta Allan by land, you have to take a dirt road for about 3 hours through the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, and once you arrive, there isn’t much by way of accommodation. As a result, only very dedicated travelers make it to Punta Allen. We reached Punta Allen by dinghy and docked next to a handful of fishing, lobstering, and tourist pangas getting ready for a day of work out on the water. When we walked the dock that snaked into town, we are so pleasantly surprised to stumbled upon a seemingly undiscovered, sleepy fishing town right on the water with sandy roads, kids playing in the streets, very lazy dogs lounging around, puppies scampering about, and many friendly faces.
