The Dragonfly Swing Wing system was designed by Børge and Jens Quorning in 1989. Using this revolutionary system, the trimaran can be folded to reduce the beam by more than 50% in less than one minute per side, using no tools and operating only from the cockpit.

The 3rd and last day of the owner's event Dragonfly Days 2024 offerede perfect weather conditions, two exciting races, and so many unforgettable moments. Day 2 of the owner's event Dragonfly Days 2024 offered a bit of wind and rain, but still some very nice sailing, during the Kangaroo Race. In the afternoon we had people visiting the Elvstrøm sail loft in Aabenraa, some people visiting the Dragonfly Yard and a seminar with Oceanvolt. In the evening we ended the day with another seminar, where our dealer from TAN Services in Dubai told about his trip from La Grande Motte, France to Dubai in a Dragonfly 40. The first day of the owner's event Dragonfly Days has come to an end and day two has now arrived. Yesterday, we welcomed 30 Dragonfly Trimarans and 110 Dragonfly sailors here in Skærbæk, Denmark, who all joined us for some individual training sessions with professional Dragonfly trainers and supplier support delivered by Elvstrøm Sails A/S and Raymarine. Congratulations to the crew aboard Dragonfly 40 Ultimate 'Harley' for their impressive win in the MOCRA Racing class at the Round the Island Race 2024! The team faced incredibly tough conditions as only a fraction of the entries were able to complete the race.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Dec. 6, 2023) - Cruising World magazine announced on December 6th, 203 the winners of its 2024 Boat of the Year competition. Cruising World presented awards to winning boats in seven categories. In ideal conditions on Chesapeake Bay, the well-rounded fleet of 19 contestants vied for top honors in the 2024 competition. This year's entries hailed from ten different nations: China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Slovenia, Sweden, and Vietnam.

At this years edition of the Round the Island Race 12 Dragonflys where on the starting line. We have made a video showing Dragonfly at the round the Isle of Wight. Fantastic to see so many Dragonflys at this historic race. Here you also get the reactions from skipper and crew of the Dragonfly 28 Performance that took the win in the Multiull and Mocra class followed by another Dragonfly 28 Performance, Ice Dragon, in 3rd out of approximately 40 multihulls. Congratulations to Kevin, Tim and Dan on thier win in the Dragonfly 28 Performance.
