Prepping the sailboat for hauling, I was under a time constraint. This was about 3 days of work: unstepping the masts, removing and securing the standing rigging and running rigging in addition to the electrical cables running through the masts. As I got close to the transport date, we realized I also needed to remove more things... due to height restrictions. After a lengthy 1-hour row to the boat (a stiff fall breeze and ocean chop is my excuse), we had a pretty spectacular November sailing day. It was a last blast of summer and much appreciated. Sailing up to Bristol, RI to have the sailboat hauled was a task brightened by the awesome weather.
