My truvk has a very tall flatbed and while I had a small basic ladder in the past. it was getting to the point where it was rather uncomfortable to use. Between the scrap pile and some new stock I was able to fabricate a nice folding ladder and get it attached to the truck. It was worth the effort!

Want to see how to get out of the marina without hitting your neighbors? Last year, we got a video of us leaving the marina at Ft. Pierce, thanks to our friends on Ingenuity, Heidi, and Franny. We use a back-and-fill method along with our bow thruster to move Eoti sideways. Using the different means of propulsion, like engine, engine against rudder, bow thruster, working in tandem, and working in opposition, we can maneuver in tight places, get off the dock, and get clearance quickly. Nous devons quitter Toau afin de nous mettre à l'abri d'un fort coup de vent de Nord-Ouest. L'atoll de Toau n'a aucun mouillage protégé contre le vent qui vient de cette direction. C'est ainsi que pendant presque une semaine, nous sommes restés au mouillage du Nord-Ouest de Fakarava. On profite d'être à Fakarava pour faire l'avitaillement car après plus d'un mois à Toau, nous sommes à court de produits frais. Nous profitons également pour visiter le vieux phare ainsi que le bateau militaire Bougainville qui avait fait escale dans l'atoll.

Along the way, we will encounter some of the most stunning scenery in the world, from towering cliffs and rugged coastlines to picturesque fishing villages and bustling ports. As we sail south towards Portugal, we will encounter a range of weather conditions, from calm and peaceful waters to strong winds and rough seas. Our crew will be on high alert, constantly monitoring the weather and adjusting our course as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.
