Am letzten Tag der ersten Regatta in der Österreichischen Segel-Bundesliga spielte auch endlich der Wind von Beginn an mit. Nach drei gesegelten Flights am Samstag, konnten auch am Sonntag nochmals weitere drei absolviert werden. Am Konstantesten zeigte sich dabei der SCTWV Achensee, der sich mit vier Wettfahrtsiegen und zwei zweiten Plätzen klar den Regattasieg vor dem Yacht Club Bregenz sicherte. Auch der Burgenländische Yacht Club stellte am Sonntag unter Beweis, dass die durchwachsenen Ergebnisse vom Samstag nicht dem Leistungsniveau entsprechen. Die Gastgeber vom Union Yachtclub Traunsee segelten knapp an einem Stockerlplatz vorbei und belegte am Ende Rang vier. http://www.segelbundesliga.at

Unser misslungenes Schleusenmanöver. Schleusenkino für alle, die hinter uns lagen. Was haben wir gelacht! Aber wir haben für die Zukunft daraus gelernt... ;-) Das kleine Video soll zeigen, dass beim Segeln und vor allem bei Hafen- und Schleusenmanövern eben nicht immer alles glatt und nach Plan verläuft und jedem einmal etwas richtig Dummes passieren kann. Wichtig ist, dass man dazu steht und darüber auch selbst lachen kann :-) Den an der Schleusenwand verlorenen Bootshaken haben wir übrigens am Ende des Schleusenvorgangs von der netten Besatzung eines hinter uns liegenden Bootes beim Herausfahren übergeben bekommen :-) Danke nochmal! Em maio de 2016, no Iate Clube do Rio de Janeiro, tiramos o barco da água para manutenção do bow thruster. Mais especificamente a troca do seu óleo, que não pode ser feita com o veleiro na água. Para aproveitar a lingada demos mais duas demãos de tinta anti-incrustante International Micron Premium no fundo do casco, embora não fossem necessárias, pois o resultado do ultrasson tem sido extremamente satisfatório na proteção do casco contra as malditas cracas. Também polimos o costado, que estava bem maltratado e refizemos a pintura do hélice com CRZ (galvanização a frio). Além disso, algumas coisinhas de rotina como trocar os filtros nas entradas de água (ralinhos de pia ;-)), checar as válvulas de fundo, trocar anodos, verificar existência de osmose etc.

Apo Island is located near Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. This small island is reputed for the good snorkeling and diving since the island was declared a protected area many years ago. We did a dive at Rock Point West and this video shows the most interesting part of the dive: close-encouter with turtles, not shy at all by divers. Watch this Hawksbill chew coral with gusto! Without any support from Protected Landscape and Seascape. Filmed in June 2016.
