The Antigua Sailing Week organising committee is proud to announce that it has selected new brand ambassadors to boost local support for the 50th edition. The new initiative engages sailing athletes, industry professionals and Antigua Sailing Week enthusiasts to play a key role in promoting this remarkable event. Ezra Christopher, the press and marketing coordinator, said: “The programme aims to reignite Antiguans and Barbudans’ passion for the event and to inform the public of its importance to the country.” Organisers chose five individuals to serve as Sailing Week Ambassadors. Those named as ambassadors are: Arlene Lake, an administrator and also volunteer on Antigua Sailing Week’s race management team; Sean MacMillan, a member of the on-the-water support team; Asher Otto, a celebrated performer; Alan Scholl, a project manager and photographer; and Franklyn Braithwaite, a director of Antigua Sailing Week and owner of A&F Sails. Braithwaite was also an Olympic sailor. Ambassadors will help generate interest in the nation’s longest running sailing event; inform key stakeholders about Sailing Week’s affiliated activities; and promote its outreach efforts to the media, organizations and businesses.

On était un peu en retard dans la saison mais qu'importe ! Une dépression pointait le bout de son nez et nous avions fait le choix de partir avant qu'elle arrive sur les canaries. Nous avons eu quelques jours un peu difficile avant de touché enfin les fameux alyzées !!!! Après 9 jours de mer nos amis des voiliers Moana et eoliane nous attendait sur le ponton pour nous prendre les amarres. On était franchement content d'arriver et de partir à la découverte des iles de sao vicente et sao antao !

We headed over to what is known as the "Redneck Riviera" which is the Mississippi, Alabama, Florida Gulf Coast. We found a great deal at Margaritaville Resort in Biloxi. It is right over the water and rather than a casino like most of the places near by have, this is a water park and full on amusement/arcade adventure for families. We had a great time. Fishing while cruising the southeast coast of Puerto Rico on our Amel 53 sailboat, Harmonie. Catching grouper, tuna, and crevalle jack with the rod, and remoras and tarpon with the camera. Hi Everyone, Today we attend the RMR region’s Porsche 356 Safety Clinic and Inspection. This is a signature event that kicks off the driving season in which we pop the boot and poke around a bit and make sure these amazing cars are ready for another year of driving around the hills of Colorado. Most cars have at least one or two small things, but in the past, we have seen empty brake fluid reservoirs and fan belts that wouldn’t make it home. Thankfully, this year was pretty calm. Bitter Guana Cay is right around the corner from Staniel Cay, but there's wild iguanas that live on the island. This video is short. Simply didn't take enough video footage. DOH! However, I've got a special surprise at the end that should make up for the brevity of this particular episode. With that said, Bitter Guana Cay is a secluded and interesting place. It was only a 1-day stop for us, but we certainly enjoyed the experience. We had to battle our way into the anchorage, with a very strong Easterly blasting us the whole way. Once we arrived, we were nicely sheltered by the tall limestone cliffs lining the edges of the anchorage. The sand was soft and white, and the holding was excellent. I always wonder how these islands got their names, and this one, is actually pretty obvious once you set foot on the island. These iguanas actually are bitter. It's not apparent why they have such a bad attitude towards each other, but they do. They'll fight, hiss, huff and puff at each other for hours. Luckily, they don't share the same distaste for visitors, like us, who shower them with treats... or at least try to. They didn't seem overly enthused about our cantaloupe rinds, but they did like the squishier pieces. Again, I don't like that this episode turned out to be so short, but I do feel proud of the way I utilized the limited footage we had. I hope you find it fun & punchy. :) Thanks for watching!!
