In order to ship it, I first need to build a crate around the motor to keep it safe while in transit. This is all well and good, but the motor weighs 130 pounds, so getting it boxed up and shipped off will prove to be a challenge. After the very successful opening rounds of this year’s ACU British Timecard Enduro Championship taking place in Scotland recently, the series now heads to the picturesque market town of Helmsley, North Yorkshire & will take place over the weekend of 13th/14th May. John Kerwin the clerk of the course for Dirtbike Actions “Putoline Yorshire 2 Day Enduro” has spent the recent last few months busy revamping this year’s event & with the recent spell of dry weather & ground conditions bone dry, all things are looking good for another cracking round in this year’s series. For this event John is working alongside the Fast Eddy Racing Team to bring you a top quality event. With the start/refuelling area being moved further down the road into a larger area plus the route being far more flowing & less technical, along with check times being more relaxed than previous years, all classes should find the event far more enjoyable. John has set out a 20 mile forest route, using 2 new XC styled Special Tests & with possibly 3 checks per lap. John has also used Paul Edmondson’s vast experience & input on both the new XC tests design layout. XC Test 1 is located 500m from the start near the farm, will be fast flowing through mature wildly spaced trees & should run at around 3 minutes for championship class riders. XC Test 2 is located where the 2015 long test was, but apart from the start & finish area is on all new ground, this should run for around 8 minutes for championship class riders. The electric motor survived being submerged, but we decided to play it safe and send the motor back to Electric Yachts, the manufacturer, Andy let them give the motor a thorough inspection. This way, Ed will avoid any issues arising while we are cruising because of latent damage that occurred while being submerged. I also installed Maddie's Christmas present, in May, only to find that it was defective and needs to be replaced. Hi everyone - Impi is a catamaran sailing around the world. Brent and Ana have sailed on this Lagoon 440 catamaran for the past 7 years and now currently sailing off the East Coast Australia. In this episode, we depart Brisbane City where Impi was anchored up the river - we duck from a storm off Peel Island where lightening and thunder caused Mayhem with one yacht struck by lightening, another on the rocks and some washed ashore. The following Day the Australian Coast guard call Impi on VHF 16 requesting to board the vessel - oh boy - what happens is not what one would think !!! We hope you all have fun watching our movie ... Bonita receives new flexible solar panels from Solbian and takes them over to a sail maker - Kore Sails for installation. Aaron from Kore Sails lets Bonita use his sewing machine to sew them onto the bimin. She take you through the process of how to sew the solar panels onto the bimini. Aaron comes up with a design, creating a weatherproof flap to cover the panels cables. She then takes the bimini and the solar panels back to the yacht. Yosh comes home from working away to assist her with the rest of the installation. We put the bimini back onto the yacht with the solar panels attached and get started with wiring them up. Yosh tells you specs and information about the solar panels. He shows you how he wires them hidden in the bimini and down the staunchen pole. The cables run down into the yacht and through to the navigation table. He installs the control panels. We announce that we are not ready in time to make the down-under rally due to our boat-work not being completed in time. We are sailing to New Caledonia by ourselves and will meet up with the crew from the rally in New Caledonia.
