The strong, fall wind patterns return to Greece after a mid-summer of dulldrums. Starting in Corfu town, we embark on a circumnavigation of the the island. It's not a huge island, but enough to keep us going, stopping in at bays and harbors, for a good week and a half. We did anchor out at Kassiopi, but the footage was marginal. This is good sailing for folks interested in that, so we left most of the land-stuff out.

We have just sailed 2000nm through Indonesia and have arrived to the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the next big adventure. Currently on the hard stand, we are re-powering and completing a major refit! We departed Australia 18 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some beautiful people and experienced different cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! Ready to swing through the jungle like Tarzan? We find ourselves in a tropical Thai paradise where fairy tale themes only add on to the surreal surroundings. Koh Kood seems to have many Peter Pan themed resorts and locations...and not only do they come with magnificent beaches with clear turquoise waters, but a few spots also boast waterfalls if you venture a little further inland. Starting out at Captain Hook's resort, we wonder why we even wasted our time near the 6 star resort where we couldn't even go ashore. This place came with a beach which should be on the front of every post card, a pool and lounging area for anyone who visits the bar....and a river filled with fireflies once the sun goes down! But since our hearts were set on seeing one specific waterfall on the island, we moved down to the next harbor where the Peter Pan themed resorts were running rampant. We found there wasn't much to do on the water's edge except chill....and the real fun was at the waterfall. Trying to knock out 2/3rds of the journey in the dinghy, we quickly got lost and had to backtrack before taking a questionable path up the river which put us in contact with the trail to the waterfall. Once we got there we found a pool leading to the spouting water which was still just heavy enough to pummel you if you stood under it. Much love from Thailand! Finite le vacanze di fine estate abbiamo dovuto lasciare Perseus ormeggiata a Pescara perchè dovevamo rientrare per lavoro. A metà novembre siamo tornati a prenderla. Siamo partiti la mattina presto, senza vento ma con un bel sole che riscaldava un pò l'aria pungente. Il mare era una tavola e la giornata è passata tranquilla. Dopo una notte di turni di guardia, alle prime luci mi sono ritrovata immera nella nebbia circondata da centinaia di detriti e alberi sradicati portati dal brutto tempo. Spento il pilota automatico abbiamo dovuto timonare a mano tutto il giorno! All'altezza di Ancona, ai detriti, si sono aggiunte le mega navi ferme all'ancora in attesa che la nebbia si diradasse. Solo verso sera la nebbia è salita e alle 20 abbiamo ormeggiato Perseus a Porto Garibaldi! The 52m long MSV Amira is a luxury ship that offers diving safaris to the best dive sites in Indonesia. The Amira crew offers you first class service and comfort. The Meri Crew sails through the Central Exumas. We leave our new friends in the Georgetown area and head northwards, stopping to do plenty of snorkeling and hiking along the way. We visit Lee Stocking Island, Staniel Cay, Fowl Cay, The Rocky Dundas and end up in Warderick Wells. We do a little grocery shopping and have a day of bad weather.
