Seafarers are on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic, playing an essential role in maintaining the flow of vital goods, such as food, medicines and medical supplies. However, the crisis has led to difficult working conditions for seafarers, including uncertainties and difficulties about port access, re-supply, crew changeovers and repatriation. This year, the Day of the Seafarer campaign calls on Member States to recognize seafarers as key workers – and to provide them with the support, assistance and travel options open to all key workers during the pandemic.

In this video we are building and installing drawers in our bedroom to improve our storage. We’re Stephen and Kayleigh an English/ Scottish couple and along with our two dogs Hugo and Coco we will full time on board our 37ft narrowboat Grayswood. After living nearly two years in our self-converted campervan we decided we needed more space. So, as a compromise (Ste wanted a boat, I was happy in the van) we decided we would purchase a boat after spending some time on our friend’s narrowboat. Grayswood was conveniently located less that 5 minutes from my work and was found kind of by accident. I was visiting a friend who was staying in Aston Marina and whilst we were out walking the dogs, I seen the advert for Grayswood. I said to my friend “that looks a nice boat” and as I said it the marina manager appeared and asked if we would like a look inside. Naturally we did. After looking inside, the boat I texted Ste and told him I’d found us a boat. We made an offer after going back for a second viewing, after some negotiations within a week she was ours pending a survey. She was hauled out the following week and the survey went well. We kept her out on the hard standing for a further six weeks whilst we renovated the insides including fitting a new kitchen and bathroom. Subscribe and welcome aboard - follow us on our narrowboat journey, where we will show what its really like living on the English waterways. New video released every Monday. Dubrovnik - affectionately known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', Dubrovnik's incredible Old Town is well known for its fortress-like city walls and marble streets 3. Hvar - star-studded Hvar is famous for its French Riveria vibe, Spanjola Fortress and the stunning bays that surround the island 4. Korcula - rumored as the birthplace of explorer Marco Polo, Korcula's fish-bone shaped Old Town and incredible cobbled streets are not to be missed! 5. Omis - famed for it's pirate history, Omis is a quaint town along the coast that has two impressive fortresses looking out over the town 8. Stari Grad - as one of the oldest towns in Croatia, Stari Grad literally translates to 'Old Town' in English and its quaint streets have been around for centuries 9. Vis - As the furthest outlying island in Croatia, Vis maintains a mysterious charm and authentic way of life. 10. Zadar - this former capital of Dalmatia is a beautiful city that features the famous sun salutation and sea organ. Explore Croatia with us: https://www.sail-croatia.com/croatia-cruises
See the breathtaking views of Croatia from above as we take to the skies to bring you an incredible perspective! If you've ever wondered what a birds-eye view of Dalmatia looks like then you've come to the right place! 1. Dubrovnik - terracotta rooftops, marble floors, turquoise water, and impressive fortifications, Dubrovnik really does have it all. Whilst the view from the City Walls is impressive, the view from the up above is even better! 2. Two salt lakes cover most of this island and National Park and provide breathtaking contrast against the rocky shores, dense pine trees and Franciscan monastery. 3. Plitvice Lakes - 8 lakes, multiple waterfalls and enough walking trails to keep you busy for hours, this National Park is as stunning in real life as it is from the skies. 5. Korcula - often referred to as a mini Dubrovnik, Korcula's red roofs and the fish-bone structure of the Old Town is a real spectacle from above! 6. Hvar - large town squares, waterfront dining, and tiny towns dotted all over the island, Hvar surely is stunning! Take in the Pakleni Islands and UNESCO Protected Stari Grad Plain - they're even more beautiful on the ground! 7. Krka National Park - Krka's claim to fame is one of the most popular waterfalls in Europe - Stradinski Buk. However, there's more to this stunning National Park than just waterfalls! 8. Makarska - a seaside port town that is towered over by the impressive Biokovo Mountain Range is certainly a sight to behold. 9. Vis - with a strong military past, Vis Island's many bunkers and airbases can be seen from the air! The towns of Komiza and Vis Town are quaint, authentic destinations that shouldn't be missed. 10. Zadar - known as the Croatian city with the best sunset in the world, according to Alfred Hitchcock, Zadar is the place to be as the sun sets out across the water and a chorus of applause erupts! Feeling inspired and looking for more Croatian views to take your breath away? We've got you covered! https://www.sail-croatia.com/set-sail/10-incredible-drone-photos-croatia-guaranteed-take-breath-away

In the second part of our Pacific Crossing we have to deal with some issues. Mario has to go up in the mast to repair broken lines, which is no fun on the open ocean. We have a bunch of Mahis swimming around the boat and a broken toilet to repair... Wind would be a nice option for a crossing too, but we dont wan't to complain to much. Wayag is maybe that place you've seen pictures of but never known where it is. Marie and I have been spending a lot of time during the covid thing in Wayag, nearly alone in this piece of paradise. We are trying to explore every corner of it and show you at home this special place. This week we explore the north east corner, the beaches and reefs there plus I get some pretty epic drone footage. In the second half I answer a viewers question by showing how I go about loading my dinghy. In this weeks episode we finally put the tools down and go and have some FUN! In between bouts of bad weather we headed for the underwater statue park in Grenada and explored the sculptures. The following day we were overjoyed to hear that the delivery of our new Isotherm 'Cruise' CR130 Elegance fridge had arrived and was to be delivered to us shore side in the bay we currently call home, Grand Mal. After some precarious moments trying to hoist the box out of the dinghy and into the boat we managed to get our new fridge on board, wired up and cranking out ice.... just in time for a drink at sunset. If you want to see our new fridge you can check it out at - https://www.indelwebastomarine.com/us/ or check them out on Instagram (@Isotherm_IndelWebastoMarine), and Twitter (@IndelWebastoUSA). Today we leave our anchorage next to James Bond Island, and after a shallow passage to the Gypsy Village. We are picked up by Arrun in his long-tail boat less than 10 minutes after setting the hook. PROJECT VIDEO: Fairing the base and completing the install! Hello Friends, On this third part of the this install series I sand the new base and apply fairing compound to try and get it as smooth and original looking as possible! After several passes of fairing I was at a place to paint and install...... As I mentioned in the video, I hastily installed it (in February) due to a rainstorm that was coming and we were leaving for Catalina Island the next day. The last part of this video was shot in June of 2020. I pulled the hatch, sanded and repainted the base and reinstalled it with a calculated amount of Butyl Tape. I hope this video helps you if you decided to update your forward hatch and allows you to see some of the steps I went though to make this amazing upgrade happen. #quarentine #arrested #rules Sorry about the spelling mistake in “quarantine”. So it’s quarantine time in Bermuda! We were kept in St George’s bay to be in quarantine for 2 weeks. We had to move in the bay quite a few times as the wind kept changing. The bridal broke and we end up on the top of the another boat. Very stressful situation first thing in the morning. Then we ask Bermuda Radio to park the boat on the dock to fix the bridal and go back to the anchorage. Hey guys Patreon has a new STRUCTURE, come along and have a look! We are giving you an extra video every week, yes that’s right!!!! Every week you will be updated in real time with us. We will tell you what we are doing, where we are, our plans for the week! Thank you very much, you guys are amazing supporting us with your likes and comments, we really feel that we have a new family out there. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it. Much love Carla and Simon

As crianças estavam anciosas para conhecer a casa sobre rodas do vovô. Ele está fazendo os últimos ajustes para poder viver várias aventuras e queremos participar de algumas! Amamos você vovô!
There's a first time for everything and after three years of cruising the Bahamas we finally made it to the fabled Promise Land. Sailing into a new place that we'd heard about for so long was pretty exciting. As we approached, we were greeted by breathtakingly clear water and a sea of masts on the horizon. As we sailed through the anchorage it was amazing to see hundreds and hundreds of boats - It felt almost like we were somewhere in the US, like Florida, and not the Bahamas at all. Once settled in, we got right to enjoying the fruits of a spot densely populated by Cruisers. And that means a daily morning net on the radio, and lot's of shopping, activity, and hangout options which we took advantage of to the fullest! -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Thanks to our Patrons!
