This video is about ocean plastic pollution cleanup, cleaning beaches from plastic in the Norwegian archipelago, marine litter and volunteer crew cleaning beaches from marine debris. I have never been an environmentalist and I am not a big fan of the man made climate hysteria. I think the media and our politicians are hyping up a demon that isn't really there. I am not sure why, but there is no question there is money in it somewhere. Climate change is not a new thing. Climate has always been changing and will continue to do so no matter how much taxes we pay and what cars we drive. Scientists agrees that the climate is changing, but it is the politicians and the media who claims this is a man made climate change, not the mass of scientists. In the meantime the elite doesn't focus much on the evil plastic problem we all can see. The over consumption of plastic and how we deal with the waste. No one ever said plastic is good for our nature as far as I know. We can all agree on this, so why can we not focus on this and make a change, together? I was first made aware of the plastic pollution problem when I sailed to Morocco and could see with my own eyes how the beaches there was swamped with plastic litter. Not just the beaches actually, also the fields were full of plastic waste. I also heard we had a huge problem in our Norwegian archipelago so I decided to join the crew from "in the same boat" to see with my own eyes if this is such a huge problem as they say. Vlog#18 Obviously we partied and overslept our alarm, no one is shocked. But we finally set off sailing to San Diego. We carried on as we do. Dolphins came to visit us again, we didn't get great footage, but every day is not a mega pod day! we had decent wind all through the day and night on our passage. all of a sudden we were going sooooo slow, so we decided to check it out, our entire prop was full of weeds. We did some revving back and forth trying to get it out but had to eventually use our trusty rusty pole to pry shit out. The crab pot fiasco ruined our poking pole but trav still managed to get most of it off. we cruised into san diego harbour, was fun for a minute and then we had a rude awakening and they kicked us out as everything was full with people who were doing the bajahaha. so we were left with no where to go. we haven't slept in a couple days and this was not the plan at all. but we made it to mission bay regardless. we loved it, we adventured, saw a lot of cool shit, and made a couple really awesome friends along the way!! overall, who could be mad! lol p.s. if anyone reads this please make a comment on travs amazing hair. i hadn't cut it in quite awhile lollllllll -------------------------------- Instagram- @Sailingdecorum --------------------------------- --------------------------------- *WHO ARE WE?* •We are a Canadian couple, Travis and Jessica. I changed out a dated audio system on the boat with newer technology. Sony MEX72BT head unit with 20w RMS @ 4ohm/ch to Herdio 4" satellite speakers and a powered 75 w RMS Kenwood KSC-SW11 subwoofer in the salon. A Dual 4 channel (bridged to 2 channel) 120w RMS@8ohm/ch goes to 2 way Kicker KB6000 6.5" 2 way cockpit speakers. Speaker wiring was a combination of 12 gauge and 16 gauge. Updated some of the light fixtures with Ming's Mark LED 190 lumen and bulbs. This included 42mm 3w festoon LED bulbs for puck lights, single (1141) and dual (1142) contact bayonet 5w LED bulbs. There is a balance between buying everything marine grade (more expensive) and using automobile or RV accessories (less expensive). Part of the fun is putting an audio system together that satisfies cost constraints while sounding really good. This system was a little over $500. A day before we spent a day on a Shubie lake (Nova Scotia) and met Vladimir, easy going guy, with a sailing experience. It turned out that him and Sergey had a lot of things in common (boats).  We had great time on the lake and invited Vladimir to join us on next day on the boat. He arrived to Horseshoe Island Park at designated time (8:00 am) where were at anchorage and we took off for a fun day of sailing. So here we are sailing in front of  waterfront Halifax, NS, enjoying conversation, drinks and the city skyline ======================================== ABOUT ME Back in 2019 I decided I did not want to be a 9 to 5  type guy anymore.  I got fed up with this rat race like routine city life and I got hooked on the idea of sailing and living on a boat full time. But with 0 (zero) expirience  that would be difficult to achieve... I took a Transport Canada course and received my first boat license... I watched tons of videos about boats and sailing on youtube and got myself registered with dozen boat related forums and groups on a facebook... In May 2020 I came across a facebook post. Sergey was looking for a crew to bring his boat to the Caribbean. I travelled 1300 km from Montreal to Halifax to join him on his boat. ==================================== Ничего вам не продаю. Life right now is pretty much on auto pilot. I think for both of us. Cody works like crazy, and I'm in quarantine eating, working, editing, talking on the phone with Cody and WATCHING SHOWS! In this video we look at how much it costs to live on a small narrowboat. We also look at common misconceptions and the challenges we have faced. We’re Stephen and Kayleigh an English/ Scottish couple and along with our two dogs Hugo and Coco we live full time on board our 37ft narrowboat Grayswood. After living nearly two years in our self-converted campervan we decided we needed more space. So, as a compromise (Ste wanted a boat, I was happy in the van) we decided we would purchase a boat after spending some time on our friend’s narrowboat. Grayswood was conveniently located less that 5 minutes from my work and was found kind of by accident. I was visiting a friend who was staying in Aston Marina and whilst we were out walking the dogs, I seen the advert for Grayswood. I said to my friend “that looks a nice boat” and as I said it the marina manager appeared and asked if we would like a look inside. Naturally we did. After looking inside, the boat I texted Ste and told him I’d found us a boat. We made an offer after going back for a second viewing, after some negotiations within a week she was ours pending a survey. She was hauled out the following week and the survey went well. We kept her out on the hard standing for a further six weeks whilst we renovated the insides including fitting a new kitchen and bathroom. August 23, 2020 I decided to go sailing even though a storm warning was issued. I should have listen but I got lucky and was able to make it back to my mooring just as the storm hit.
