Sailboat audio system and lights on the Catalina 42 Ep 3

I changed out a dated audio system on the boat with newer technology. Sony MEX72BT head unit with 20w RMS @ 4ohm/ch to Herdio 4" satellite speakers and a powered 75 w RMS Kenwood KSC-SW11 subwoofer in the salon. A Dual 4 channel (bridged to 2 channel) 120w RMS@8ohm/ch goes to 2 way Kicker KB6000 6.5" 2 way cockpit speakers. Speaker wiring was a combination of 12 gauge and 16 gauge. Updated some of the light fixtures with Ming's Mark LED 190 lumen and bulbs. This included 42mm 3w festoon LED bulbs for puck lights, single (1141) and dual (1142) contact bayonet 5w LED bulbs. There is a balance between buying everything marine grade (more expensive) and using automobile or RV accessories (less expensive). Part of the fun is putting an audio system together that satisfies cost constraints while sounding really good. This system was a little over $500.
