A look into what its like to surf camp the Outer Banks of North Carolina on a good size hurricane swell. We don't have much surf footage because we were all out in the challenging conditions. Even if we had someone on the beach filming, the wait time it took to paddle out, and the time between rides was too long. Plus a strong south moving current. I rode the lifeguard rescue board the first day and the bodyboard for day 2. The waves were powerful and numerous.

We got stuck on the beach (luckily with Lilly and not with the Perfect Sense), the refit sailing yacht of our Beneteau B57 started, we had diner with the owner of the yard and we made some off the road road trips with Lilly during a public holiday. It is amazing to be so close to our sailing home and start living aboard again. Our sailing adventure and sailing around the world trip. We will keep the vlogs about refitting our sailing boat up tempo and do shorter in depth videos about certain processes of the refit: teak deck, anti-fouling, batteries, instruments, sail set up. This area is right in front of the major resort area on the south west side of the island. It is fairly protected from waves, but there is considerable current. This is two dives meshed into one. Both are in the depth range of 35-50 feet. We had a camera problem on the first dive, so we came up with some poor and almost unusable footage. The second dive turned out great, so we mostly used this footage, but spliced in a few from dive one. What happened? Well, the go-pro waterproof cover was taken off on the boat for a bit to grab some audio and we think a little water got in and caused condensation on the lens, making the video foggy. There is lots of amazing coral, sponges, ocean, and marine life in these videos. We see spiny Caribbean lobster, flutter fish, butterfly fish, file fish, creole wrasse, cow fish, and lizard fish. Non abbiamo mete, non abbiamo fretta e non abbiamo il Covid. What else? Dato che avremmo dovuto tirar fuori la barca dall'acqua per l'inverno ma che a causa del lockdown ciò non è stato possibile, ci siamo trovati a dover affrontare una serie di lavori extra. Questa prima settimana è stata ricca di sorprese e imprevisti che ci hanno messi a dura prova; nel video ve ne mostriamo alcuni. In barba a tutte le riprese di mare, blu, sole, cuore e amore, qui vi presentiamo legni sporchi, gabinetti rotti, occhiaie violacee e un sacco di lamentele. How to do my mom's easy garlic chicken recipe (Pollo Al Ajillo) - Easy Boat This is the way my mother was cooking the chicken when I grew up in Spain. It is not the traditional garlic chicken recipe but it is very yummy and smells like Spain :) To do this recipe for 4 hungry people you need: 3 lbs. of chicken, 1 onion, 1 garlic head, oregano, bay leaves, thyme, ground black pepper, white wine and chicken bouillon. Parsley will add a nice touch. Fried the chicken in olive oil Add the onions and garlic Fried the chicken another 5 min Add the spices Stir vigorously Add the white wine and water Wait 15 min till the chicken is tender Add the parsley and enjoy ! You can eat with potatoes, vegetables, French fries, rice etc... It is easy for a boat since chicken is easy to find all over the world. Try to have good quality chicken to avoid too much liquid when you fry it. Still heading South, continuing my journey down the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, Canada visiting towns and fishing villages along the way ... ===================== ABOUT ME Back in 2019 I decided I did not want to be a 9 to 5  type guy anymore.  I got fed up with this rat race like routine city life and I got hooked on the idea of sailing and living on a boat full time. But with 0 (zero) expirience that would be difficult to achieve... I took a Transport Canada course and received my first boat license... I watched tons of videos about boats and sailing on youtube and got myself registered with dozen boat related forums and groups on a facebook... In May 2020 I came across a facebook post. Sergey was looking for a crew to bring his boat to the Caribbean. I travelled 1300 km from Montreal to Halifax to join him on his boat. The trip was cancelled two months later for legitimate reasons.  Since I made my way to Nova Scotia I decided to discover this beatiful province before going back to Montreal I have not given up on my dream of sailing. Claro que nesta fração da viagem englobo de Itacoatiara a Manaus, a vila de Novo Remanso. ao meu ver melhor e mais seguro ponto para fundeio. Sem a exposição da correnteza do Amazonas, tornasse bom refúgio. Tendo toda infraestrutura básica para atender as nossas necessidades. Como combustível, farmácia, mercado etc. Destacando a opção de comprar um ótimo peixe fresco, logo após a rampa acesso. Tucunarés, filhotes e surubis são comercializados, ainda fresquinhos... trazidos pelos pescadores artesanais, da região. Podendo ainda, curtir o por do sol, usufruindo de uma gelada em alguns dos bares da orla. Bvs

Uma das melhores coisas da vida a bordo é a quantidade de novas amizades que você faz, como é divertido e gratificante. Conhecer esse casal foi bem mais legal que conhecer só na área virtual.
