After a late arrival in Roche Harbor, we take the next day to visit the sculpture park and the mausoleum. We found lobster on the dock and realize that Maya is a fine gourmet! Having enough of tourists and music we decide to head to Stuart Island. The first two days are amazing. This was a very special weekend since on the same weekend it was the 4 of July and my birthday. I had a very special gift from my 2 sons and wife. Sailing trip to Point Roberts, WA. May 2022. Point Roberts is a strange little town since the town has no direct land communication of the rest of the USA. To travel to WA state by land you need to cross the border with Canada. During Covid, the small little town has been suffering a lot. Navigation to Ewing Cove. We never been able to anchor there since the spot is very small and only can host a few boats. With the bad weather we were hoping to have room. One of the best anchorages of the San Juan. Seals, Sea Lions and small islands to explore. This winter we had family from Spain coming to visit us. We wanted to show him the Pacific Northwest from the sea. With the bad weather we had in December and January it wasn't easy to find a good weekend. We finally had an opening during his last weekend. Not the ideal day but good enough to go out. With the bad weather during our winter break, we couldn't sail to Port Angeles to visit the Olympic national park. We took the car and drove south.

Not much sailing lately due to the weather. After this weekend snowstorm, we went to check our boat. The poor girl was under the snow :). A few pictures of our marina under the snow.
