Wir sind in der Region Murcia unterwegs. Westlich von Cartagena finden wir einen Stellplatz und erkunden die Gegend. We made our way across the Great Bahama Bank from Bimini to the Berry Islands, a passage that turned out to be our best one yet! The wind was perfect, the waves not too big, Bagheera soared across! In Bimini, we met Bohemia and her crew, Thomas, Agus, and their dog Kite. They were also headed to the Berries so we decided to go together, and then explored the area together! #97 Île de Thiandhoo - Maldives L'ìle de Thiandhoo est située dans l'avant dernier Atoll des Maldives. Enfin une île dans laquelle nous somme les bienvenus. La population est d'une gentillesse impressionnante. Des sourires partout, des rires. Nous profitons de visiter un peu la ville, et j'embarque sur un bateau de pêche pour voir ces marins décharger des tonnes de thons sur un bateau congélateur. Bonne humeur entre eux, et ils sont heureux de voir une caméra. Du coup je repars avec un thon que Corinne va apprêter. Encore du bricolage avec le radar à réparer, Corinne vous propose sa recette de pâté végétarien, et... nous repassons l'équateur et sommes à présent dans l'hémisphère sud pour pas mal de temps. L'apéro au coucher de soleil, et tout ça, rien que pour vous. Et toujours de l'humour et de la gaîté à bord. Passez une excellente semaine. Bonjour à tous! Dans cette vidéo, je modifie mon plan de pont, qui à l'origine est très banale. Je l'améliore pour avoir en retour du cockpit, les é ris de grande voile, la balancine et le hale-bas sur le coté bâbord. Sur le coté tribord je laisse comme c'est à l'origine, c'est à dire l'écoute de grande voile et la drisse. Cependant, je rajoute l'enrouleur de génois. Boat Life Things: SAILBOAT VINYL REMOVAL l Ep.12 In this episode we take a walk along the Marina wall and show you some serious dredging issues! We then tackle our next sailboat job; to remove the old boat name, Tzigane, ready for our new sailboat vinyls; "Indiana"! We have to tackle some heavy oxidation removal and show you how to remove oxidation from a 30+ year old boat. We talk you through the products used; oxidation remover, polish and wax, and the step by step process. We use a random orbit sander and a combination of different grades of sand paper to start, we then move onto our oxidation remover rubbing compound, polish and then finish off with a bit of wax. She looks good as new and we cannot wait to get our new vinyls on in the next few weeks!! Unsere Segelreise führt uns in die französische Karibik. Wir segeln nach Martinique. Die Überfahrt von Barbados war eine der entspanntesten bis jetzt. Das Segeln in der Karibik ist ein Traum. Achterlicher Wind bis 20 Knoten und eine leichte Welle schoben uns in unter 20 Stunden zu unserem Ziel. In Martinique angekommen, sind wir begeistert wie grün diese Insel ist. Und der weiße Strand am Eingang von Le Marin mit seinen vielen Palmen löst gerade bei Kerstin große Begeisterung aus. Es ist ein tolles Gefühl mit unserem Segelboot in der Karibik zu sein. Ohne Bootsreparatur geht es dann aber doch nicht. Wir müssen unseren Druckausdehnungsbehälter für unser Süßwassersystem auf unserem Segelboot austauschen und einen genau passenden Ersatz gibt es leider nicht, also muss etwas improvisiert werden. Den Anker lichten nur unter Segeln, das klang an dem einsamen Ankerplatz bei bestem Wetter und wenig Wind nach einer tollen Herausforderung! Aber so ganz ohne Ankerwinsch hatten wir dann so einige Probleme unseren Stahlpott in Wallung und unter Kontrolle zu bekommen. Kurzum, selbst mit zweifacher Manneskraft ist es uns nicht gelungen, den Anker hoch zu holen. Also wurde der Motor angeworfen und dann lief das Ankermanöver auch gleich wie im Bilderbuch. An diesem Tag war auch endlich mal ausreichend Wind um schön zu segeln. Da der Wind achterlich kam, beschlossen wir unseren alten Fockbaum zu setzen. Leider war an einer Seite der Schnappverschluss dicht korrodiert, so dass wir den Baum mit einem Schäkel am Segel befestigen mussten. Mittlerweile haben wir zum Glück einen neuen Baum fürs Vorsegel. Ile de Carriacou (Grenade, aux Petites Antilles) et son mouillage de Tyrrel Bay qui est d'habitude tranquille. Mais cette fois-ci, un coup de vent fait rouler tous les bateaux pendant 4 jours. Nous avons profité d'une accalmie pour nettoyer notre annexe après plusieurs mois passé dans l'eau. Pendant notre séjour à Carriacou, nous avons navigué vers l'île de Morpion avec nos amis du voilier "Happy". C'est l'îlot qu'on voit souvent dans les photos des Caraïbes car c'est un banc de sable blanc avec un parasol au milieu. Depois de tanto tempo parados em Woburn, aqui em Grenada, finalmente estava na hora de sair um pouco! A velejada foi curta, foram 13 horas, mas 13 horas no contravento pode ser bastante cansativo. Tivemos emoções de todos os tipos: sem vento, muito vento, vento na cara, vento de través, deu pra tirar a barriga da miséria!
