After crossing the Bay of Biscay we immediately absorbed the relaxed Spanish way of living - The cute old lady selling her veggies on the Monday market of Avilés stole our hearts and we could only attempt to get our pimientos (peppers) just as delicious as we had them at the Jamoneria in A Coruña - It was too difficult to choose between all the Ria's, so we decided to take a look into almost everyone of them and dropped anchor wherever we found a remote bay with a white beach - We really took our time to explore the gorgeous coast of Asturia and the Costa da Morte (Coast of Death) If you are interested in the music used in this video, please see the credits at the end of the video.

We're just a normal family working together to restore this rusty old sailing boat so we can fulfil our dream of moving aboard and sailing around the world. In this week's episode we get Jack as involved as we can building some temporary steps down to what will be his aft cabin. Making a mock up is all part of establishing a good proof of concept. We've found before that mocking up ideas in scrap and living with them for a while is good practise, if you have the scrap materials to hand and have time to play around with ideas of course. We also get an amazing gift from across the pond and do some more welding to the transom AND cut a nice new top for the bathing platform Remember we're doing all of this so we can go full time cruising as a sailing family in a few years time. In this episode BE FREE captain is offering "rescue service" twice in a week. Sailing to Grenada having my breakfast while hearing a guy shouting for help. I offered my assistance but he rather have his outboard drowned than letting me standing at his transom to help him... Weird experience to be shouted at and send away just to watch his project going bunkers because he did not want anyone onboard his boat. Guess we all are different. After a couple days of cleaning, fixing the boat and fueling up we get the boat all to ourselves and then set off to explore the Big Island of Hawaii. WE find some tasks are easier than others when living on a boat, but lately after COVID, some things can be a bit more challenging. WE were able to fuel up the Wolfhound after our 3 week long passage across the Pacific on the commercial docks in Hilo. WE send Steven and Lou on their way to spend a few days on shore and we watch after the Wolfhound while they are gone. Then we trade off and go explore the Big Island on our own with a sweet ride!
