This episode we explore the waterfalls above the rock bar of the Mitchell River. After climbing over huge rocks and boulders we arrive at the first set of multilevel waterfalls for a refreshing swim and cool off under the falls. After climbing down and exploring the lower level, Pete finds a secret entrance behind the waterfall which leads to an incredible cave system. Returning the following day, we explore further up the river to the second and third waterfalls where we swim in what can only be described as a waterfall playground with infinity pools, vortexes and water slides. Returning in the afternoon we find that our tender has not behaved as expected and has got stuck on a rock ledge 3 metres (10 feet) off the water. Having to wait until later that night we head back up the river in complete darkness with crocodiles all around, on a rescue mission to bring her back. Kasım sonu, önümüzdeki günlerde gelecek olan fırtınadan korunmak istiyorum, bu nedenle güvenli bir koyda alargaya çıkmam ve hazırlıklı olmam gerekiyor, bir de sosyalleşmek istiyorum, yalnız kalmaktan çok sıkıldım 😅😃 Fethiye doğudan ve güneyden esebilecek rüzgarlar için kapalın olduğundan ve bir yerleşim merkezi olduğundan orası çok mantıklı geldi. Motor seyrim yaklaşık 1,5 saat sürdü. Ortalama 7 knot hızla varmış oldum. Ancak bir önceki günlerde yaşanan yoğun yağmurlu günler nedeniyle seyri çok dikkatli yapmam gerekiyordu... Bonjour les amis, Aujourd’hui je vous fais une vidéo un peu spéciale. Certains le savent déjà, une page se tourne sur Sagar Rani. Je naviguerai maintenant seul avec Sticky. Claire a quitté l'Odyssée pour autre chose. La vie est pleine d’imprévus, et en voilà un. Je vous rassure, l’aventure de Sagar Rani va continuer, j’ai de nouveaux projets en tête. Je vais continuer de faire des vidéos, de partager ce voyage avec vous, ça c’est certain ! Comme vous le saviez, nous devions faire un refit du bateau, et aller en Patagonie. Je vais sûrement partir plus tôt d’Afrique du Sud, mais je ne ferai pas de carénage. Par la suite, je pense traverser l’Atlantique Sud, et je remonterai vers les Antilles. Et bien sûr, je ne renoncerais pas à cette formidable aventure, loin de là, ma vie est en mer et nulle part ailleurs. Cela fut un brutal et soudain changement pour moi, mais un marin se doit d’ajuster ses voiles et d’aller de lavant quelque soit le temps plutôt que de se lamenter. Je suis en ce moment à East London, dans le Sud-Est de l’Afrique du Sud. Je prépare le bateau pour naviguer vers Cape Town. Je dois encore réparer le pilote automatique qui fait des siennes, et je serai prêt à partir en attendant la prochaine météo. Je tiens vraiment à vous remercier, vous êtes une communauté incroyable, vous avez toujours été là pour nous soutenir, nous aider et nous encourager. Après une bonne nuit de sommeil nous partons de Pornichet sous misaine pour rallier la belle ville de Piriac. Le bateau caracole, la mer est belle. Une fois arrivé, nous vous emmenons avec nous flâner et visiter la bourgade. Le coin est authentique, les ruelles sympathiques et le temps magnifique ! Petit goûter bien mérité, c'est les vacances, le site est très calme malgré l'été. Bref, on adore!

We had a troubled sail into ‘Caleta Paraíso’ (Paradise Cove), almost getting snagged into two fishing nets and meeting their owners on the way down. Despite the troubles though, Paradise Cove really lived up to its name, treating us to some of the most scenic tropical views we have seen on the journey so far. For a few reasons, including an approaching tropical storm, our stay in paradise was short-lived. We had to move on quickly, making a bee line for the shelter of a large lagoon in Barra de Navidad, 40 miles to the south. Van Ria de Ferrol zeilen we naar Sisarga Grande, een eiland voor de kust van Spanje. We brengen daar een onrustige nacht achter het anker door, dus we zeilen snel door naar Ria de Camariñas waar we heerlijk rustig liggen. Na een mooie wandeling en een bezoek aan het dorp trekken we verder richting Muros. Bij het invaren van de baai hebben we stevige wind en is er iets mis met de val van de fok. We verhuizen naar een ankerplek dichter bij Muros om dat eens nader te onderzoeken. Jarenlang heb ik ervan gedroomd om zeilend te gaan waar de wind me brengt. In 2020 was het dan eindelijk zover en heb ik samen met Felia een prachtige reis gemaakt naar Scandinavië en de Baltische staten. Onze Eva, een Atlantic 43 uit 2007, is een aluminium zeiljacht met hefkiel en gebouwd en uitgerust voor reizen naar plaatsen die net achter de horizon liggen. Vanaf 2021 vaar ik met wisselende bemanning zuidwaarts. Ik vind het leuk om onze avonturen met jullie te delen. Hey Guys! So in this video we reveal how we came to own a boat and end up in a boatyard in the middle of the Caribbean. After months of "couch sailing" on YouTube we decided it was time to stop dreaming and dream and start living it. Brit has wanted to sail and own boat for many years but it was always something that didn't seem it could possible for us. Until we stumbled across countless and I mean countless YouTube Channels like, La Vagabonde, Beau & Brandy, Sailing Uma, SV Delos, Parlay Revival, Tula's Endless Summer, Odd Life Crafting, Expedition Evans and the list goes on. We can only hope to inspire one person to chase their dreams as they have inspired us to. After what seemed like a long search for a sailboat we learned about hurricane damaged boats for auction down in the Caribbean. We came across a listing for a 43 Beneteau Oceanis that was currently being auctioned. We put in our bid and got out bid a few times before finally winning in the end. We had a short window to get from California to St. Thomas USVI to secure our purchase. Now the fun begins! It is time to refit this hurricane damaged sailboat make her our own. Thanks for watching!
