This episode is all about making Mistress' shower space water proof (and strong too) by applying GRP/fibreglass taping to all of the corners, adding fairing filler to lay down a base that 'falls' to the drain position to drain water and then laying GRP/fibreglass over the whole base to make it all one, strong and water proof sealed area! I race my first ever sailing regatta, the Airlie Beach Race week. 190 boats in several divisions took part. I was part of a 7 person crew on a Northshore38. It was an action packed week with very challenging conditions ranging from 5 to 30 knots. It was pretty cool to enjoy someone else's boat and just sail with very little responsibility. #164, navigation entre Luperon et Saint Martin Partie 2 ✍️Cachée derrière une nappe brumeuse, Samana, et droit devant Porto Rico. Comme ça, au premier coup d’œil, on aurait envie de se laisser leurrer par le calme brillantin de la mer ! L’essentiel est d’avancer. C’est ce que nous faisons, toujours au moteur, déjà 120 litres brulés depuis le départ. Ce qui peut légèrement aider, c’est de hisser un peu de toile, border au max, à 30º du vent quand il se lève légèrement. Malgré les deux, voiles et moteurs, nous ne dépassons guère les 5 nœuds ! Peu importe ! Au vu du passage de la Moana entre la République Dominicaine et Porto Rico, les 10 nœuds maintenant constant d’Éole, sont largement suffisants ! Le couloir peut être chaud par mauvais temps. Là, avec un courant moins soutenu, il est plutôt indulgent jusqu’à la côte. Après ? Après, c’est une autre histoire ! La puissance du flux et du vent est telle, que même avec nos deux Diesels à 2500 tours-minutes, nous sommes obligés de tirer des bords. Dans ce saccadé scabreux nous trouvons du réconfort dans les effluves de terre mouillée qui viennent jusqu’à nous. Mais ce réconfort est de courte durée. Avec la fin de journée, la fatigue additionnée au malmenage, décident mon capitaine à s’arrêter à San Juan. En flanc de montagne, la vieille ville émane ses airs de bomba et nous plonge dans le décor d’une cité médiévale. La tentation pourrait nous dicter de descendre, seulement nous sommes clandestins ! Nous ne devrions même pas être là sans un visa américain, alors mieux vaut rester discrets. Les ferveurs du vent devraient se calmer en milieu de nuit, juste ce qu’il nous faut pour nous reposer quelques heures. Le répit devrait être assez court pour ne pas nous faire repérer. His catamarans are well know for good speeds and comfortable sea rides. In Lemon Cays in the San Blas islands we at the end met a Lerouge performance catamaran. There are a lot of Lerouge cats out, but the others never had time for filming. Come on board with us to Philoxene and listen why the owners feel so safe on this boat, even in 50 knots of wind. A french-italian owners set the goal to sail around the world just in 2 years. At least this is the plan for now… This is 45 feet very light catamaran. She is first of all a good sea boat with wide beam, good buoyancy, short bridge-deck high above the water, minimum windage and she is unsinkable. She easily takes the ground on her trouble-free low-aspect keels which protect her hulls, rudders and propellers and are faired into the hulls curve of area. The DOLDRUMS. We went from one extreme to the other. The week before we had squalls and big sees and this week we had doldrums and flat seas 🌊 We appreciated the calmer weather and seas and decided it was the perfect opportunity to clean the hull of the yacht. We jumped into the water, a little apprehensive about the fact that there was 3000m of water below us but it was amazing. The water was so clear, when we were scrapping the hulls we could watch the barnacles falling into the unknown for minutes! We thought if that was the case we would surely have enough time to see a shark coming 🤣 After cleaning the hulls we decided we would have a dive bomb competition off the yacht and have some fun! We had mahi mahi following us for days before we managed to catch a few after trying MANY different fishing tactics! We had baitfish under our sugar-scoops for days, we became quite fond of the little fellas and checked on them daily. Colben, without our knowledge, caught one and set it as a live bait and that’s is how we eventually caught our first dorado in days. After that we couldn’t keep up with hauling them in. We were dying for a yellow fin tuna that we could make sushi with but only caught a Skip Jack tuna that we made a delicious meal with.

Im Frühjahr 2022 verlassen wir Lanzarote und segeln nach Madeira und nach Porto Santo. Was wir dort erlebt haben, habt ihr ja in Episode 48 und 49 bereits gesehen. In Bequia lossen we het probleem van lekkage van de toiletpomp op. Gelukkig hebben we de benodigde onderdelen aan boord. Met Jamie en Dina van Merdeka maken we een mooie wandeling naar Mount Peggy Peak, van waar we een geweldig uitzicht over de baai hebben. Nog diezelfde dag varen we verder naar Chateau Belair, waar we in een baaitje overnachten. De volgende dag zeilen we in een lange, ruige tocht tot laat in de avond naar Le Marin op Martinique. Jarenlang heb ik ervan gedroomd om zeilend te gaan waar de wind me brengt. In 2020 was het dan eindelijk zover en heb ik samen met Felia een prachtige reis gemaakt naar Scandinavië en de Baltische staten. Onze Eva, een Atlantic 43 uit 2007, is een aluminium zeiljacht met hefkiel en gebouwd en uitgerust voor reizen naar plaatsen die net achter de horizon liggen. Vanaf 2021 vaar ik met wisselende bemanning zuidwaarts. Ik vind het leuk om onze avonturen met jullie te delen. Histórico: O advogado representante do Sindicato Rural de Nova Crixás, é famoso e experiente. Portanto, sabia que o assunto sobre o Imposto Territorial Rural (ITR), era, e ainda é, de competência federal. Mas ele sabia, também, que suas alegações não constituíam em crime perante a Receita Federal e, mesmo que fossem, a eventual demora para uma ação da Receita Federal ou da própria Polícia Federal, impedi-lo-ia de atingir o fim proposto que era interromper a fiscalização do imposto. As normas referentes ao ITR são claras. Qualquer problema criado pelo município, o contribuinte pode recorrer à Receita Federal. Ignorou-as, pois seria muito mais fácil recorrer à Justiça estadual onde dispunha de muita influência e poder. Assim, mesmo sendo inconstitucional, a justiça estadual acatou todas suas alegações, ipsis litteris, inclusive a absurda tese de prisão preventiva e o governo do Estado de Goiás cedeu seu poderio policial para efetuar a sensacional prisão de dois velhos pais de família. Nem o Delegado da polícia Civil, nem o Promotor e nem Juiz concederam-me o direito constitucional do contraditório. Não me ofereceram uma única chance de defesa. Defesa do princípio maior da nossa Constituição Federal que é o Direito à Liberdade. Inclusive ao direito à vida, pois eu poderia ter morrido na cadeia. Quase todas as propriedades rurais do município de Nova Crixás caíram na malha fiscal por erro no preenchimento da declaração anual. No entanto, 80% delas eram improcedentes, ou seja, bastava o contribuinte comprovar a produtividade da fazenda e a multa era sumariamente baixada, sem necessidade de Laudo ou qualquer pedido formal. Entre as multas procedentes a maioria eram de baixo valor e o Laudo ficaria mais caro que a própria multa. Restando em torno de 20 produtores que a multa compensaria um laudo agronômico. Quando descobri que o Sindicato estava fazendo laudos para todos os produtores, independentemente da necessidade, e se negava a conversar a respeito do assunto, resolvi fazer uma carta para os produtores, recomendando-os buscar mais informação no município. O objetivo era que eles deixassem de gastar dinheiro com laudo. Essa carta foi a principal prova de corrupção e exaustivamente comentada no inquérito. Pergunto: Quem vai fazer corrupção manda carta para mais de 100 produtores? Acho que essas coisas são tratadas pessoalmente, nem por telefone. Pegaram um áudio que eu disse uma única vez, para uma insistente pessoa (armação) que fazia laudo, exceto para os municípios para os quais eu trabalhava. Como ficou constatado, não encontraram nenhuma prova que eu propus fazer laudo para algum produtor. Uma das alegações foi a de que o município estava impugnando seus laudos. Mas ele, como bom advogado, sabia que o município não tem competência para impugnar laudos. O que o município fazia, e tem que fazer, é apresentar suas alegações discordando do produtor, se for o caso. Entretanto, se o contribuinte não concordar com o município, o próprio município é obrigado a enviar o laudo para a Receita Federal. Outra alegação, para justificar a prisão preventiva, é a de que os fiscais poderiam interferir na Declaração anual do ITR que seria feita no final de outubro. Ora, todos sabem que o ITR é declaratório, ou seja, o fazendeiro avalia como quiser suas terras, e toda a Declaração é feita pela internet. Qual o risco de influência dos fiscais? Mas pelo menos reconheço que o referido advogado é poderoso. Além de ter alcançado seus objetivos, a prisão foi um sucesso na cidade. A metade da população parou para assistir o alvoroço policial e todas mídias do estado noticiaram. Amargurei 59 dias de cadeia e tive toda minha vida profissional detonada. Um professor de Direito da Universidade Federal que foi eficaz, conseguindo minha liberdade em poucos dias depois da sua contratação. Tenho uma pequena aposentadoria que me permite viver modestamente. Nunca tive um câncer ou outra doença grave. Mas comparo minha prisão à cura de um câncer. Passei a dar muito mais valor à vida. Hoje sou apaixonado no meu cão, nos meus filhos, netos, na minha casa, até nas flores. Quando decidi fazer esses vídeos não foi pensando em vingança, mesmo porque, os vídeos serão irrelevantes frente ao poderio dos acusadores. Mas, como inquérito foi extinto sem processo e, portanto, sem julgamento, sinto que ficou uma lacuna inexplicável entre a motivação da minha prisão e da minha soltura. As pessoas perguntam: por que fui preso e como fui solto? Outra motivação foi com relação a meus filhos. Histórico: O advogado representante do Sindicato Rural de Nova Crixás, é famoso e experiente. Portanto, sabia que o assunto sobre o Imposto Territorial Rural (ITR), era, e ainda é, de competência federal. Mas ele sabia, também, que suas alegações não constituíam em crime perante a Receita Federal e, mesmo que fossem, a eventual demora para uma ação da Receita Federal ou da própria Polícia Federal, impedi-lo-ia de atingir o fim proposto que era interromper a fiscalização do imposto. As normas referentes ao ITR são claras. Qualquer problema criado pelo município, o contribuinte pode recorrer à Receita Federal. Ignorou-as, pois seria muito mais fácil recorrer à Justiça estadual onde dispunha de muita influência e poder. Assim, mesmo sendo inconstitucional, a justiça estadual acatou todas suas alegações, ipsis litteris, inclusive a absurda tese de prisão preventiva e o governo do Estado de Goiás cedeu seu poderio policial para efetuar a sensacional prisão de dois velhos pais de família. Nem o Delegado da polícia Civil, nem o Promotor e nem Juiz concederam-me o direito constitucional do contraditório. Não me ofereceram uma única chance de defesa. Defesa do princípio maior da nossa Constituição Federal que é o Direito à Liberdade. Inclusive ao direito à vida, pois eu poderia ter morrido na cadeia. Quase todas as propriedades rurais do município de Nova Crixás caíram na malha fiscal por erro no preenchimento da declaração anual. No entanto, 80% delas eram improcedentes, ou seja, bastava o contribuinte comprovar a produtividade da fazenda e a multa era sumariamente baixada, sem necessidade de Laudo ou qualquer pedido formal. Entre as multas procedentes a maioria eram de baixo valor e o Laudo ficaria mais caro que a própria multa. Restando em torno de 20 produtores que a multa compensaria um laudo agronômico. Quando descobri que o Sindicato estava fazendo laudos para todos os produtores, independentemente da necessidade, e se negava a conversar a respeito do assunto, resolvi fazer uma carta para os produtores, recomendando-os buscar mais informação no município. O objetivo era que eles deixassem de gastar dinheiro com laudo. Essa carta foi a principal prova de corrupção e exaustivamente comentada no inquérito. Pergunto: Quem vai fazer corrupção manda carta para mais de 100 produtores? Acho que essas coisas são tratadas pessoalmente, nem por telefone. Pegaram um áudio que eu disse uma única vez, para uma insistente pessoa (armação) que fazia laudo, exceto para os municípios para os quais eu trabalhava. Como ficou constatado, não encontraram nenhuma prova que eu propus fazer laudo para algum produtor. Uma das alegações foi a de que o município estava impugnando seus laudos. Mas ele, como bom advogado, sabia que o município não tem competência para impugnar laudos. O que o município fazia, e tem que fazer, é apresentar suas alegações discordando do produtor, se for o caso. Entretanto, se o contribuinte não concordar com o município, o próprio município é obrigado a enviar o laudo para a Receita Federal. Outra alegação, para justificar a prisão preventiva, é a de que os fiscais poderiam interferir na Declaração anual do ITR que seria feita no final de outubro. Ora, todos sabem que o ITR é declaratório, ou seja, o fazendeiro avalia como quiser suas terras, e toda a Declaração é feita pela internet. Qual o risco de influência dos fiscais? Mas pelo menos reconheço que o referido advogado é poderoso. Além de ter alcançado seus objetivos, a prisão foi um sucesso na cidade. A metade da população parou para assistir o alvoroço policial e todas mídias do estado noticiaram. Amargurei 59 dias de cadeia e tive toda minha vida profissional detonada.
