Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and built by Hanse Yachts, Octo is a beautiful example of a boat that offers so much in terms of its ease of handling, extended fast cruising ability, and outstanding level of comfort. Her enormous cockpit is perfect for cruising and entertaining and boasts twin wheels which provide a wide-open lane to the boat’s drop-down swim platform and allow you to get well outboard when steering. Halyards and control lines run directly to the boat’s twin helms and combined with her self-tacking jib, electric winches and a well-positioned battery of rope clutches make short handing the boat absolute simplicity. Below, the 445 reaps the benefits of some great hull design. It’s beamy, with a lot of freeboard and that translates into an incredibly spacious and comfortable saloon. The owners’ cabin is also spacious, and the separate toilet and shower will certainly please most. There are two large double cabins aft and separate guest head. There is a well-designed navigation station to port, an L shaped galley with twin basin sink, gas stove and oven as well as microwave and two separate refrigeration compartments. The vineyard dates all the way back to the 1600’s, when it was founded by a member of the Rousselle family. However, the true modern era for Chateau La Rousselle is quite recent as that starts in 1971 when the Fronsac estate was purchased by the Davau family. At the time of the purchase by the Davau family, Chateau La Rousselle was in a dilapidated condition and everything required work. The new owners began an extensive renovation program from the ground up starting with the chateau, wine cellars and wine making facilities. Château Rousselle Côtes de Bourg 2018 is soft and creamy, concentrated, fruity and all in length. Here you will find aromas of raspberry, blueberry, cherry, licorice, spice and wild herbs. We're sailing our way out of Maine onboard our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran. It's been an awesome summer up here, but it's time to move on. In this video, we spend some time visiting Monhegan Island. It's a small island with a very artsy, summer camp feel. The water is freezing, though! Jeff wanted to dive in. He tried and tried. Do you think he did it? You'll have to watch to find out. Next we visit Boston, on the hottest weekend in recorded history. We still had a fun time, though, walking the Freedom Trail, drinking slurpees, and touring the USS Constitution, the oldest floating war ship on the planet. Finally, Jeff sings his way to Provincetown, otherwise known as P-Town, where we rode bicycles all over the trails and Jeff got his ears pierced. No final de tarde podemos seguir para a Ilha da Cotia para o segundo pernoite. No outro dia após o café da manhã seguimos para o Saco da Velha e Lagoa Azul, dois lugares incríveis para mergulho na região.
