Ich war Berufsseemann, lange her. Seit 15 Jahren bin ich gewerblich auf Segelyachten unterwegs, biete Trainings, Coaching und bereite SKS-Crews auf ihre praktische Prüfung vor. Das gelingt an Bord der "Kalami Star" so gut, dass bisher alle Teilnehmer bestanden haben - drei Wiederholer. Zwischen Starkwind und Flaute haben wir bei Prüfungen alle Wetter erlebt, doch dass der DSV-PA bei Böen bis 42 Knoten (Bft.9) Segelanfänger prüfen will, muss ich hier nicht kommentieren. Seltsam auch, dass die DSV-Prüfer nicht interessiert, ob sie auf einer für die Segelausbildung zugelassenen Yacht prüfen. Nicht BG-Verkehr abgenommene Charteryachten, meist von DSV anerkannten Segelschulen gechartert, sind bei den Prüfungen stets in Überzahl. Ein Armutszeugnis für den DSV und die Geizisgeilsegelschulen! Un chat et une chanson pour enfant ! Pour rejoindre sa fille Lila qui vit au Canada, Antoine nous a confié Moka pendant un mois. J'avoue que nous sommes tombées amoureuses de ce gros matou gentil et attachant. Pour la petite histoire, Le Matou Revient est une chanson traditionnelle américaine (qui date de 1893), reprise avec des paroles en français par Steve Waring dans les années 1970-1975. J'adorais ce disque et j'ai même vu un concert de Steve Waring à la fête de l'huma ! Je devais avoir 10 ans, je m'en souviens comme si c'était hier. Autre époque ! J'espère que ma version fait-maison, un peu plus jazzy que l'originale, vous plaira.

Retenue de bôme : Dispositif & Fonctionnement. Lors d'un tour de l'atlantique ou d'un tour du monde, les occasions de naviguer au portant, vent arrière, ne manquent pas. Personnellement, j'adore voir et naviguer les voiles en ciseaux. Le génois totalement débordé d'un côté et la grand voile complètement débordée de l'autre. Pourtant, plus on s'approche du vent arrière, plus le risque d'empannage est réel. Que cela soit consécutif à un écart de barre, à une vague qui fasse rouler le bateau et passer la bome d'un bord à l'autre, ou simplement, à un changement d'orientation du vent, les conséquences peuvent être dramatiques : un équipier ou équipière qui prend la bome en pleine figure, un homme à la mer ou un dégât matériel sérieux tel un vis de mulet qui s'arrache. La meilleure parade à tout cela est la retenue de bome. Bir de itiraf etmeliyim ki; siz sevgili dostlarla paylaşma amaçlı hazırladığım videolar youtube'un hızlı ve yoğun video paylaşımı döngüsüne verdiğim tepki ile birleşince e biraz üretim konusunda yavaşlattı beni. A thrilling adventure, cruising from the charming Oban Bay Community moorings to the enchanting Loch Spelve. *Read on for more information and useful links...* As we crossed the breathtaking waters, we couldn't help but marvel at the beauty that surrounded us. The views were like something out of a dream, captivating our senses and igniting a sense of wonder within us. Once we dropped anchor in Loch Spelve, we immediately knew we had stumbled upon an extraordinary place. The abundance of wildlife left us in a state of pure awe. Majestic golden eagles soared gracefully overhead, their wings spread wide against the sky. Red deer grazed peacefully along the shoreline, their elegant figures adding to the natural splendor that enveloped us. Eager to embrace every opportunity to connect with nature, we decided to hike up the magnificent Cruach Ardura. Little did we know that the experience would leave us speechless. As we reached the summit, the panorama that unfolded before our eyes simply took our breath away. The beauty of the surrounding landscape stretched out before us, a feast for the eyes that seemed almost too perfect to be real. Our journey continued, taking us towards Fishnish Bay in the Sound of Mull, our sails billowing in the wind. The thrill of the journey heightened as we passed the legendary Duart Castle, a stronghold steeped in history and evoking tales of ancient times. Upon arriving at Fishnish Bay, we felt an immediate sense of tranquility. This well-sheltered haven became our sanctuary for the next two nights. From the comfort of our anchored vessel, we were treated to spectacular views. With each passing day, our love for sailing deepened, and our appreciation for nature's wonders grew. The wind, seemingly choreographed to perfection, guided us through these remarkable destinations, unveiling their secrets one by one. Our nights under the starlit sky were filled with a sense of pure contentment, as we fell asleep to the gentle lullaby of the waves, knowing that we had experienced something truly extraordinary. Our journey continues and the memories we forged in these captivating places will forever remain etched in our hearts. The allure of the Scottish waters, the remarkable wildlife, and the spellbinding landscapes have left an indelible mark on our souls. Ein Refit steht an. Doch Broterwerb und Verpflichtungen lassen es nicht zu, monatelang in Griechenland am Boot zu arbeiten. Da wird schon 2018 die Idee geboren Squib nach Wien zu bringen, wo man jederzeit Zugang hat, der Einkauf von Material in der Muttersprache abgewickelt werden kann und alles andere seinen gewohnten Verlauf nimmt. 2021 war es dann endlich soweit, mit zwei generalüberholten Motoren und einem neuen Geräteträger starteten wir Anfang Juli Richtung Südfrankreich.Leider hatten wir für die gesamte Reise nur zwei Monate Zeit, deswegen hieß es die meiste Zeit Strecke machen. Doch manchmal nahmen wir uns die Zeit zu verweilen, uns Orte näher anzuschauen. I'm really interested in anyone's feedback of whether I should have sailed today or not. It was blowing 15-20 mph with 35 mph gusts, expected to blow 25mph to 45mph at some time in the afternoon. As a novice sailor just looking for opinions on whether i'm a chicken or clever for not sailing today? Anyway... ...It's an early start, the drive to Bala is about 1h 40m for me, so about this time of year (October) the mornings are dark!! Hope you enjoy a snapshot of my drive that takes me from the busy Motorways of the North West into the lazy lanes of Wales. When we arrive the weather is just crazy and the water is quite high in the lake. The jetty's are submerged and it's just not possible to get Mochyn Du safely in the water, let alone paddle out the Lulu in these winds. I think i'm quite proud of myself for not sailing today. Experience and my gut tells me to stay safe and find something else to do, so with that in mind we take Mabel my trusty T4 Campervan and take a tour "Around" the lake. Nachdem wir uns in Heiligenhafen gut mit leckerem Wein und Rum eingedeckt haben, geht es einen langen Schlag von ca. 74 sm an Langeland vorbei nach Nyborg. Leider ist uns das Wetter nicht so hold und es briest ganz schön auf. Aber dafür beschert es uns eine schnelle Fahrt. In Nyborg erkunden wir die Stadt und besuchen die Burg nachdem wir unser Wasserproblem gelöst haben. Wir zeigen euch den Hafen und die sehr gepflegte Anlagen und informieren über die Hafengebühr und deren Angebote. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ziel dieser Saison war eigentlich Norwegen. Aber es sollte anders kommen. Immerhin haben wir es bis Skagen geschafft. Von dort über die westschwedischen Schären an der Westküste Dänemarks vorbei bis wieder nach Wismar. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Schaut selbst in den folgenden Videos, welche Häfen und Ankerplätze wir angelaufen haben und was wir dort erlebt haben. Bonjour à toutes et à tous Découverte en voiture de la corse. Mer , montagne, soleil et neige! Nous sommes montés jusqu'à 1300m d'altitude, à la fin de la saison. Il restait un peu de neige, et que de beaux paysages. Les cols ont été fermés cet hiver et les équipements chaines neige étaient obligatoires. Nous avons vécu dangereusement sur les routes Corse. Voici quelques films, et des photos magnifiques pour vous montrer les richesses de cette île. Nous avons passé l'hiver au port Charles Ornano, Un séjour riche en amitiés , rencontres, paysages... In this exciting first episode of Sailing Eleutheros, we share the incredible story of constructing our full-keeled cruising sailboat, Eleutheros, from the keel up. Starting in 2002, we carefully laminated frames and built the backbone using iroko wood. Watch as we create the mold for the lead keel and melt 7,500 pounds of lead to pour into the mold. The journey wasn’t without challenges—being forced to move away from the first building site in 2004 meant we no longer had a heated space to work on the boat during the winters. Over the next 19 years, Eleutheros was built in seven locations and traveled over 2,000 km, culminating in her final launch at Beach Point, PEI. This custom-built boat is a modified version of Francis Herreshoff’s design #99, extended by nearly 3 feet and featuring unique modifications to her rig and construction. The masts, made from hollow Spanish cedar, and the high-modulus Dyneema standing rigging make Eleutheros an exceptional cruising sailboat. Before we settle in to the marina for winter at Porto Montenegro we have some boat work to do so get our sailboat lifted out before setting off to explore this beautiful country and have a first go at zip lining - what could possibly go wrong? We start the episode with a quick trip to some Cold War submarine tunnels and a look round inside a Yugoslav sub before heading to the boatyard. Largely unedited footage of Vicar's first sail proper sail of the season. On the Dart between Ditisham and Galmpton, it's about a mile across there. Light wind, very shifty coming down the river and around the bends, gusting from 0 to 12knts. Mid tide flooding so variable current going up the river. One reef in, not because of the conditions, especially three up, but just to test. I strongly suspect that the boat is faster upwind with a reef in these conditions though.
