Our dive trip to Cozumel in November of 2019 was a huge success with 2 groups in 2 weeks. We saw so many schools of fish, eagle rays, nurse sharks, sea turtles, and swam through beautiful swim-throughs. The diving in Cozumel is always superb. Join our trip next year!

Blake and Toby show you around our sailing yacht Opal, a 28 ft yacht and on our way to Kawau Island we see dolphins. When Blake shows you around our boat, he points out our dinghy, kayak, front hatch, anchor and chain, outboard motor, tiller and rudder. While Toby shows you inside the boat where we sleep, the fridge and the radio. We show you the footage of dolphins swimming by our boat, including a baby dolphin (Dolphin calf)! One of the dolphins rubs it’s tummy on the bottom of the boat. We didn’t get a chance to show you, but it was funny just before seeing dolphins, both boys were feeling a bit sea sick, however once we saw the dolphins they said “we aren’t sick anymore!”. We are two brothers, aged 4 and 7, who love going on sailing family adventures - exploring the outdoors and finding super cool wild animals, bugs and marine life. So along with our parents, we’re sailing the world, exploring islands, and looking for interesting wildlife. We start our adventure sailing New Zealand but dream of sailing around the Mediterranean some day. We love our planet and want to look after our environment, so through our travels we hope other kids will feel inspired to care for our planet and wildlife too. We say goodbye to our daughter and her boyfriend, then leave Tobermory to explore Loch Sunart. We spend a couple of nights in the Loch choosing a couple of different spots to anchor and have a night on a mooring buoy. It was very peaceful with beautiful sunshine. We have a long passage in a thick pea souper fog to Mallaig only to discover a problem with our sail drive. A sailor friend tipped us about Berlenga. What an awesome island! Freediving in crystal clear water with fish, octopus and cages to explore. A fortress that we first thought had little to offer, ended up giving us the greatest night with food, drinks, watermaker tour and light show.

In this episode we continue our volunteer work on the marine conservation projects including building fish-house bases and preparing old bike frames for an underwater bike path snorkeling attraction. My trusty boat hook has been a really useful piece of kit to be honest. It helps with mooring up, grabbing things from the water and also helps me reach my jib when down hauling it, so it's had a really busy season and is in need of a bit of repair! A Expedição ANI pelo Brasil partirá de Itajaí (SC) no dia 15 de abril e terá como destino final o arquipélago Fernando de Noronha (PE). O veleiro Gosto D’Água, embarcação utilizada no projeto, passará por 15 cidades e 10 estados da costa brasileira, e só pretende voltar às águas itajaienses após seis meses. A Expedição ANI pelo Brasil irá comemorar os 20 anos de trabalho da ONG itajaiense, que já ensinou mais de 16 mil alunos da rede pública a remar e velejar com o projeto “Navegando Pela Cidadania”. Em cada parada, os velejadores farão palestras abordando a história da ONG, a cultura náutica itajaiense, o desenvolvimento sustentável e a economia azul para o público local. “Queremos que esse projeto leve o nome da ANI e de Itajaí para outros municípios brasileiros que também desenvolvem o mundo náutico. A associação tem 20 anos de história e é um exemplo de práticas educativas e sustentáveis não só para a cidade, mas para o país inteiro.”, afirmou o ex-presidente da Associação Náutica e coordenador da Expedição ANI pelo Brasil, Claudio Copello. Durante as travessias, a equipe irá participar de duas competições importantes do calendário da vela oceânica brasileira. Wow! What a great time it has been in Grenada. We visited a beach towards the south west side of the island and had a little fun over there. The view of the blue water beaches with the mountains surrounding us was so beautiful. After spending the evening on the beach we headed out to have dinner in a lovely restaurant overlooking the beach. The food was amazing! The next day we had to make a quick trip to the pharmacy because Ruby and Emerson have been complaining about an ear ache. So we had to get treatments for it. Right after that we pulled off from the main island to head up north towards Carriacou island, which is also an island of Grenada. That is where we were supposed to check out. It was so sad to leave beautiful Grenada. The people have been so amazing. We definitely got a little attached to this place! 😆 After some sailing and meeting new people along the way we pulled up into the northern island. We spent the night there to get checked out the next day. But the night was horrible! The winds were bad so we had to keep our eyes up throughout the night. The next day got a taxi and headed out to get checked out. Everybody was so kind except for a lady in there. We were pretty frustrated by the experience. But we got it done and started to head out to Union Island! After checking in we decided to get a quick haircut. Then we explored more of the island. We get the epoxy repairs on the Main and Mizzen masts sanded down ready for them to be coated in epoxy. Then we set to with the Gaff again, making new reefing chocs so we can reef the mainsail. Lastly I have a quick tidy up of the Spar chandlery. It's not a big change but just getting all the old varnish off the parts makes a big difference. She's going to look proper tiday when all this is done! Ho provato x la prima volta la mia MTB E-BIKE Cannondale Moterra Carbon 1 del 2020 , presa usata ma davvero fantastica. Ho fatto la prima uscita dopo 6 mesi di inattività x motivi di salute, con calma ho fatto circa 37 km in modalità tour, praticamente è la seconda modalità dopo ECO che è la prima. la durata della batteria 🔋 è più che sufficiente, con 37km fatti me ne restavano ancora 113, direi fantastico. la batteria 🔋 è da 625wh. Dopo questa uscita ne ho fatte altre 2 percorrendo ormai 100km, l'indicatore mi da ancora il 28 % di batteria 🔋 e 30km. In this first episode, we discuss with Contest's CEO Arjen Conijn what this means, from concept to practical delivery.

In this video we sail from Garrucha to Cartagena our winterharbour in 2022 and we get a first look at this historic city. We are a middle aged couple that has left our hectic business lives to go sailing with our boat Fridá af Wisby and our cat Litza. Our goal is not to go to a specific place but to reach a state of mind where we can really enjoy life. Anders has been at the sea most of his life and sailed for the Swedish national dingy sailing team as a young man. Gitte has also grown up with boats and spent every summer sailing with her father as a teenager but made a pause of about 15 years without sailing as an adult, had just begun to pick-up the interest before she meet Anders in 2017. Onboard we also have our cat Litza a 4 year old Devon Rex we call her the cattain because cats always decide over their humans. Fridá af Wisby is a Wauquiez 47 pilot saloon that we Gitte and Anders bought in UK in 2019 and that we have sailed to Gotland and in season 1 2020 we sail in the Baltic Sea. During season 2 We sailded south to Dieppe Normandy France. After a winter in France in Season 3 we started to sail the Atlantic coast of Europe to Xufre in Spain where we lifted the boat over the summer while we where back in Gotland to work at our hostel we got there. Season 4 got a short sailing season where we only sailed to Lagos on the Algarve coast of Portugal where we hauled out once again this time to go throug a long list of boatwork and to build a solar arch to make the boat more self-suficient with electricity. After 6 months in Lagos we kicked-off season 5 with real bluewater sailing first to the northerly Atlantic island Porto Santo and Madeira and then further out to the Azores that lays in the middle of the Atlantic ocean before turning back towards the mainland and south coast of Portugal again.

Rumpreinigung, Bootsfahrschule und Segelübung, bei wenig bis gar keinem Wind holen wir raus was wir können um doch zu segeln. Die neue Crew grooved the langsam ein. Natürlich hapert es mal wieder an der Ausreise, was wirklich nervig ist in der Karibik mit der Kleinstaaterrrei! Die Reperatur unserer Selbstwendefock können wir auch in Teamarbeit abschließen.
