Q is a magnificent 52m sailing yacht, built for extensive blue-water cruising. This multi award-winning ketch-rigged sailing yacht presents an outstanding combination of performance excellence and sophistication. With unrivaled quality of build by the renowned Alloy Yachts and a sleek Dubois designed exterior and interior, the custom-built Q was delivered in 2008 and underwent refits in 2014 and 2016. With top performance sails from North Sails, this all-oceans yacht has a maximum speed of 15 knots. Q's 1200hp Caterpillar engine gives her a huge range of 3.500 nautical miles when cruising comfortably at 10 knots. Outside, Q boasts a flybridge with a comfortable seating and dining area and a large Jacuzzi on the foredeck that is surrounded by sumptuous sunpads, ideal for entertaining and relaxing. What's more, Q houses an armada of water toys, from kayaks and water skis to snorkelling gear and inflatables. Q's spacious cockpit has been designed with a spectacular system of fully retractable windows that offers guests uninterrupted views in a climate controlled area at the touch of a button. The open plan main salon which also offers 360 degree panoramic views, is a stylish and modern space with a subtle oriental twist, thanks to her fabulous Reymond Langton designed interior. Below on the lower deck is accommodation for 10/12 guests in five luxurious staterooms, consisting of a full beam master suite, two doubles and two twins each with a Pullman berth. Q is exclusively available for charter with C&N: https://bit.ly/3DdJoiu

Sailing Action! We leave Madagascar for the 1,400 mile sail to South Africa. Only problem is the wind and weather are not cooperating with us and we find ourselves drifting in the Mozambique Channel with no wind. We have a long way to go and must conserve diesel fuel so we float around and get hit by a few squalls. Thanks for watching everyone! Click here... http://www.patreon.com/Nandji In this episode of Sailing Nandji, we had to return to Noumea for yet more repairs to Nandji, hopefully they will be the last ones for quite some time!! We head into the marina and have to remove the forestay and furler. We had to replace the forestay in a foreign country which was good fun. We really need to learn a bit more french to succeed over here haha It is all part of the adventure!! Whilst at the marina, we were lucky enough to cross paths with the greatest of all time solo sailor, Jon Sanders. This man is an absolute legend. He is currently on the last legs of completing his 10th circumnavigation at the young age of 78. He sailed solo and unassisted non stop around the world twice. Then he thought, I can beat that and went and sailed around the world non stop three times!!! what a man!! When we asked him how he did it, he shrugged it off! This man has sailed around cape horn 5 times! The only thing he had to complain about was that the floor boards get thrown around went knocked down and you loose your winch handles. What a legend!! I don’t mind a bit of fresh air knotting my hair and windburn lips no I don’t care. Yippeeeee let’s go and explore the rest of the Mediterranean.

Bem vindos a bordo!!! 🌬⛵ Apoie nosso canal: https://www.patreon.com/sailingaroundtheworld https://apoia.se/sailingaroundtheworld **** Pagina no Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/sailingaw/ **** Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thaiscanado/ https://www.instagram.com/google_golden/ https://www.instagram.com/djbetotoledo/ Bons ventos 🌬⛵ Beto Toledo / Thaís Cañadó / Google 🐶 #VELEJANDO #SAILINGAW #VELEIRO #velejar

In the new iPhone 8, Face ID has incredible potential to flatout beat Touch ID. Maybe added sercurity measures always scanning for your OWN face, that way if your phone gets taken iPhone 8 can instantly lock itself because it's a face it won't reconize. Face ID could possibly mean we don't even need to Touch our phones anymore. How awesome is that? These are just my thoughts and i hope they come true!

CAPRI GREEN GROTTO -ITALY The Green Grotto is located on the southern coast of Capri, not far from Punta Ventroso. It is only possible to reach the cave by taking a boat from Marina Grande, the largest port on Capri. Only a few boats are able to go into the cave at a time, so at peak times, you may end up waiting.

Music by Julian Mae (https://soundcloud.com/julianmaee) Really appreciate the support, check out the Patreon for more access and perks: https://www.patreon.com/FindingSimon If Patreon isn't your thing, I also have a Paypal.me link: paypal.me/ShelbyandSimon I'm a Canadian photographer from Ottawa who got rid of everything to travel to world. I make travel vlogs sharing my ups and downs, adventures on motorbikes, sailboats, and vans. Instagram: @Finding_Simon Snapchat: Finding_Simon Twitter: @FindingSimon Donations: paypal.me/ShelbyandSimon Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FindingSimon Merchandise: http://simonstiles.com/finding-simon/ :::::::FAQ::::::: - How do you afford to travel constantly? A: I travel really cheap, free camping, cooking my own meals, being as efficient as possible. I make my income almost entirely on YouTube but it's really tight. Ad revenue, patreon, paypal donations, merchandise sales and affiliate links bring in about as much as a part time minimum wage job, and I'm able to make that work. When it isn't enough I go back to work, doing photography mostly, sometimes commercial video projects, but it takes me away from my travels and videos. - How much does it cost? I spend on average $2000 travelling, most of which is gas, some repairs, food, and on average less than $200 on any eating out, shopping or extra curricular expenditures. I make $200 a month from YouTube and $400 from Patreon. The rest I make from my work. - What camera do you use? Sony A7ii, Nikon D810, Sony RX100 iii, DJI Phantom 3 Advanced, Rode Videomic with Deadcat, Zihyun Crane 3 Axis Gimbal, Underwater Housing, tripods and lights. - What is your bike? 1999 Yamaha Vstar XVS1100 with a Champion Escort sidecar. - What're your plans? Buy a boat, fix it up, sail off into the sunset. - How do you find all these cool places? To gain access to my complete research you need to hit me up on Patreon, but here's a few sites I frequent: https://freecampsites.net/ https://www.campendium.com/ http://www.atlasobscura.com/ https://www.couchsurfing.com/ - What do you do for Internet? I use coffeeshops and libraries to upload episodes a few at a time, I also use my wifi antenna (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T9lNM8Mukk&t=2s) and a data package on my phone (10GB) - How do you live on the road with a dog? It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with my dog anyways, especially if it's warm out in the middle of the day. I let the constraint of bringing my dog with me help me make some decisions, avoiding places that ban dogs, and spending more time out in nature instead of in the cities. - What happened to the girl? We decided to go separate ways (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPgxDIXxCjY&t=4s) - Are you rich or something? definitely not. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharing my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time. - Where are you now? The top perk on my Patreon page is a live link of my location on google maps so you can get an active idea of where I am currently. If that's not an option for you there's also Instagram and Instagram stories that give you a much better idea of what I'm up to today.

On this episode of Sailing Vessel Triteia I get to the bottom of things and tackle the task of cleaning the bottom of my 1965 Alberg 30 that has not been cleaned in over 6 years. After a long days battled and only getting half done I called in reinforcements and my little brother comes down to the boat with his scuba gear and helps me finish the job. Big props (well, my prop is actually very small but saying "small props" doesn't sound very grateful) to my brother Colby for coming out and helping me finish, not sure I could have done it with just snorkel gear! Thanks for all your comments and likes on the first episode! many more to come! Fair Winds, Sailor James Alberg 30’s have long been known and respected as blue water boats, from Yves Gelinas’ Jean-Du-Sud to being featured in John Vigor’s “Twenty Small Sailboats to Take You Anywhere”. Now I am the proud owner of Hull #55! Come along with me as I refit her and take her sailing in preparation for my circumnavigation in a few years time! We're off and running on our little shakedown cruise, but as we should have known, things don't always go according to plan. After running around Stuart to make sure we have all the necessary oil and discharge stickers, we begin to make our way south on the St. Lucie River with visions of sailing and swimming in our heads. Based on a complete lack of wind, a faulty (by us) depth sounder that had us staying directly in the channel, finally coming to a beach only to run into water nearing 90 degrees, we failed at all our attempts for fun that day. We always take the good with the bad though, so instead of focusing on what didn't work out for us, we enjoyed a secluded night at anchor in Peck Lake, gazed at all the multi million dollar homes along the ICW, and moved ourselves down to Lake Worth in Palm Beach where we knew we could get out the inlet and raise our sails for the first time. Make sure to join us in our next episode where we *DO* make it out the Palm Beach Inlet and raise our sails on Elements of Life for the first time. Cheers from our shakedown! Thank you SO MUCH to our Patrons. These charitable souls help keep us in the work yard, our camera equipment up to date, and the videos coming.
