We have a few weeks to sail from Turkey to Tunisia but there is a huge storm coming! On this episode we talk passage planning, safety and storms and have our usual fun on the way! We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures! This is a small crossing compared to an ocean crossing that takes weeks on end. Crossing from the French Coast to Sardinia with a sailboat only takes about 40 hours. However it was filled with beautiful moments, with dolphins and full moons, with sunsets and sunrises. Combined with some gorgeous music from a few of my musical heroes, I think it makes for a nice relaxing watch.
