Keegan worked and researched tirelessly for days to figure out why our solar panel system wasn't pulling in as much power as we should have been. After installing 4 new panels, 3 different charge controllers and completely new wiring - we have a brand new fully functioning and powerful solar panel system! Keegan is now a self-certified electrician and available for hire! 😂 Once we had power, we turned to the power of the gods of wind and sea to officially rename our boat. ::FOLLOW US:: Instagram: @sailingsummerfriday Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sailingsummerfriday/ Website: https://sailingsummerfriday.com ::SAILING SUMMER FRIDAY SWAG:: https://sailingsummerfriday.com/shop-sailing-summer-friday/ Are you down to summer friday? Guests on board this week - Mike and Kristy. Xanthe met these two at a music festival 4 years ago. We were camping neighbours for the week; then as chance would have it, we became actual neighbours when they moved to the same suburb as us in Sydney. We pretty much lived in each other's pockets before abandoning them for our boat adventure so it was quite the treat having them onboard for a couple of weeks of adventuring over Christmas and New Year. ...If only it turned out as smooth and problem free as we had hoped. A few disasters along the way made it an interesting trip to Dominica. We had heard a lot about this island and it all sounded a bit to mystical to be true. Hot waterfalls, natural pools inside mountains and reefs that fizz like champagne? Surely not. Thanks for watching guys. If you liked it, please give us a thumbs up and leave a lovely comment. Living aboard and travelling in a 34ft yacht and in a motorhome with four kids. We get to the fantastic Bay of Islands and endure a bout of rain before Christmas. Then we get some sunshine and some up close shark action. We are a family of six who are taking some time out of normal life to travel. We’ve pulled the kids from school and are home schooling while on the road and the water. We spend time aboard our 34ft sailing boat in NZ and have bought a camper in Europe so as to tour the other side of the world. We’re keeping our memories on video here and the kids write narration and play guitars so we have music to use in the videos.

Setting sail from the beloved remote islands of Nor west WA we head to Dampier Archipeligo to find an amazing shell and rock forte built by a man named Sam, we have a fast sail at 8-10 knots through the flying foam passage and SNAP our front Beam on the Tangaroa!!!! NOOOOOOO... devastating times as this means a bit of limping and more boat work!!! ;( We decide to not head to the Kimberley region and sail back down south..but that's ok as we get the best weather ever to keep exploring this beautiful state! We made an easy day sail from Green Turtle Cay over to a beautiful island called Manjack. We were invited to join a group of people who were feeding a stingray in the water. We later found out that Manjack Cay is actually a popular destination where people can come and feed the semi tame stingrays and sharks. It was a really fun experience. Later that day we wanted to have some fun in the dinghy and get some awesome drone footage of Randall speeding up and down the beach. We were having great fun until Kenzie accidentally crashed the drone into a tree branch causing the drone to fall to the ground. Upon retrieving the drone we found that the arm holding the gimbaled camera broke making the drone impossible to use. It was a very sad day for Kenzie, so we didn't film anything else that day. Stay tuned to find out what happens to our drone next. _____________________________________________________ MUSIC USED: "Sunrise" by: Nicolai Heidlas "Corporate Uplifting & Inspiring Motivational" by: Audio Stock "Freedom" by: Tortex "Alternative Mood" by: Hooksounds Originals LINK: ~https://www.hooksounds.com/royalty-free-music/sunrise-acoustic/166697/ ~https://www.hooksounds.com/royalty-free-music/corporate-uplifting-inspiring-motivational/648094/ ~ https://www.hooksounds.com/royalty-free-music/freedom/582917/ ~https://www.hooksounds.com/royalty-free-music/alternative-mood/778402/ ******************************************************** Affiliate links have been added to this description to help our viewers find products shown in our videos. “As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.” Thank you. ********************************************************

Just a few days before we start our crossing to the Cape Verdi, we decide to order a new light wind sail. It's a huge sail with 170 sqm. Luckily the manufacturer of Wingaker sails could manage to bring us a sail to Gran Canaria and has 2 days time to shows us everything. But, is it a good idea to use it with no experiences out on the big ocean? Will we really be happy with it and use it? In this episode we sail for 11 hours in the Aegean Sea. We leave Emborios on the South eastern coast of Chios and head over to Pythagorio on the island of Samos. A 60 mile crossing. We had a nice steady wind and decent sea state and was running almost all the way. A great day sailing. And then later in the evening we meet up with some friends and Jenny gets to do some Greek dancing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you found it informative or entertaining please give it a thumbs as it helps get YouTube to promote it outside of the existing subscribers. I'm a Canadian photographer from Ottawa who got rid of everything to travel the world. I make vlogs sharing my ups and downs, and my adventures in vans, on motorbikes, and on sailboats. - Who is Champ? Champ is my handsome 14-year-old Labrador, who travelled almost everywhere with me for his whole life. He loves chin scratches, fetching sticks, and scarfing down cheeseburgers and pizza. - What camera equipment do you use? I use a Panasonic FZ2500, a DJI Mavic Pro, a Rode video micro with Deadcat, a Zihyun Crane 3 Axis Gimbal, as well as DIY tripods and lights. - What are your vehicles? I drove a 1992 Dodge Ram B350 camper van all over North America for about two years. Travelling by motorcycle made for some unique trips. I explored the Canadian Maritimes (and deserts and backroads all over the continent) on a 2002 Kawasaki KL250 Super Sherpa dual sport bike, and also rode my 1999 Yamaha V-Star XVS1100 cruiser with a Champion Escort sidecar across my home country twice. From land to water travels: I currently live and work on a 1979 Wharram Oro 47 catamaran. - What are your plans with the boat? I will fix it up, run it on nothing but green electric power, and sail off into the sunset. Stay tuned for the growing build and the adventures to come! - How do you find all these cool places we see in the videos? To gain access to my complete research and the world traveller’s map I curate during my explorations off the beaten path, you need to hit me up on Patreon. Here are a few websites I frequent: https://freecampsites.net/, https://www.campendium.com/, http://www.atlasobscura.com/, https://www.couchsurfing.com/ - How do you afford your lifestyle? I live and travel economical by using free camping and mooring, cooking my own meals, thoroughly researching products and how-to’s online, practicing a DIY approach, and being as efficient as possible with my resources. I've struggled financially for most of my life, and although I'm blessed with helpful friends and family as well as being able-bodied, white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to pursue your passion. So, I learned that you DO need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, and a traditional career but that it IS possible, worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes me happy. I make my income almost entirely by creating content for YouTube, but it's a tight budget. Ad revenue, business sponsors, affiliate links, Patreon, Paypal donations, and merchandise sales bring in about as much as a part-time job, and I'm able to make that work. When it isn't enough, I go back to regular work such as photography, videography or construction, but that takes the focus away from my own projects. - How does your dog fit into this lifestyle? It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with Champ anyways, since we enjoy similar things, like eating food and being outdoors. I let the constraint of bringing my dog with me help me make decisions about where I go and what I do, so I avoid places that ban dogs, and therefore spend more time in nature instead of in cities. - How do you make it work as a digital nomad? My electrical power set-up allows charging my camera and laptop to film and edit almost daily. For Internet access quick and reliable enough to upload my episodes a few at a time, I use coffee shops and libraries. I also use a data package on my phone (10GB), a WiFi antenna, and a WiFi booster.

AWESOME day on the sea, and finally sailing down the coast of Colombia after years of anticipation and preparation, and what do I see but SNOW on the mountain tops on the coastline... seriously?? Never expected that one, but it did cool off the air for us nicely as we make our way South! :) Cheers, Captain Rick For more real-time updates, follow us on Instagram at: http://www.instagram.com/SailingSophisticatedLady Support SSL Videos at: http://www.patreon.com/AmbientRealLife New SSL Video Collections just released on Vimeo! https://vimeo.com/ambientreallife/vod_pages More information new Iridium GO! In the hope that my videos may have inspired some of my viewers to part with their hard earned cash and purchase a yacht, this video looks at the best yacht that can be bought for under $5 million. There are thousands of yachts available for sale on the market, so it is important to first have a clear idea of how you intend to use the yacht. Of course...a good yacht broker can help you with the benefit of his experience too. david.seal@northropandjohnson.com https://www.northropandjohnson.com

Hello Friends, On this episode we head to the boat to test fit the enclosure and make sure all the measurements line up. After getting the stove set down in the brackets and seeing how she swings we head back ashore and get to work on preparing the bulkheads and start the laminating process. After drilling out the holes for the brackets I installed countersunk "T-Nuts" on both of the bulkheads. This will give me the strength of a through bolt without having an exposed nut on the other side of the bulkhead. In the chance that I should ever find myself capsized in the southern ocean I want to make sure the oven stays put until the boat rights itself. Everything I build on my boat I build with the knowledge that one day I will be sailing in the Southern Ocean and I want to make sure every project I do is as strong and secure as possible. I used white formica for the surfaces and DAP Weldwood contact cement to adhere it. With the help of my wife Camille and Mr. Steady the hound we got the enclosure all screwed together and ready for more laminating. Thanks for watching! In this episode the Parlay Revival crew depart Grenada to sail to Los Roques, Venezuela. They are a crew of 6, with only the captain Colin ever done any proper sailing before, so he gives everyone a sailing lesson before everyone does their watches. Everything is going smoothly in their hurricane damaged boat until they hit a bit of a storm in the middle of the ocean. Venezuela is renown for pirates so the crew give the mainland a wide berth to avoid any trouble. #oceancrossing #lifeisgood We finish the first leg of our Atlantic crossing and arrive in Mindelo, Cape Verde. The town is very tidy and well kept but looks like they didn’t developed since they got independent. We have our toilet blocked again, what a nightmare! We send the Genoa for a little repair so we don’t take any risk on the next part of the crossing. We are really enjoying this life and share everything with you it's been wonderful . Thank you very much, you guys are amazing. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, fifteen months after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it. Much love Carla and Simon https://noforeignland.com/home/map/boat/6152623245754368/

#MaseratiMulti70 #Caribbean600 Sito web: https://maserati.soldini.it/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/giovannisoldini/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/giovanni_soldini/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/giovannisoldini/
