We also visit the Bali Sailing Centre which is run by the AMAZING Pak Kiki. Kiki works tirelessly to teach sailing to people who in many cases would not get the opportunity. His Sailing Centre caters for all ages from 7 to 80 and all levels of experience, but his real passion is for teaching the local Indonesian kids. We continue on our road trip south down the east coast of Australia and stop at Eden, New South Wales. There is a gorgeous lookout called Eagles Claw Nature Reserve where one can look for whales. Nach der OP folgt eine mehrmonatige Zwangspause. Zurück bei meinem Schatz in Griechenland starten wir gleich mit den letzten Vorbereitungen. Und dann geht es endlich los, durch den Kanal von Korinth zum Golf von Patras. Immer schön weiter nach Westen. Contrary to our plans, we are setting off much later this year. While on holiday at home, I have a nasty cycling accident in which I break my shoulder. The operation is followed by a forced break of several months. Back with my sweetheart in Greece, we immediately start with the final preparations. And then we finally set off through the Corinth Canal to the Gulf of Patras. Always continuing westwards.

We’re going mad!!!! Squeak, squeak, squeak our sub-floor is squeaking and driving us crazy. When it was replaced five years ago apparently we didn’t install enough furring strips. That’s what we are doing in this episode along with replacing the vinyl click lock flooring that lays on top with carpet. Steve made the correct cuts the first time. He really knows how to cut a rug and Karen loves to get down on a nice new floor. Other updates include the progress of the dill we planted. Maybe we’ve lost our green thumbs because the dill doesn’t look so great. It’s been thinned and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will continue to grow and bring us delicious flavor in the future. Wondering about the basil we planted? It’s growing strong and steady. Karen gets teary eyed over the Sony video camera. It is no longer functioning. Those wonderful features of a Carl Zeiss lens, internal gimbal stabilization and a super clear 20X Zoom lens are no longer available. Steve will have to catch the wild life with our cell phones. Ich musste zuerst 91 Mahagonileisten zurechtsägen – natürlich alle millimetergenau passend. 💪🪵 Auch das Einkleben war diesmal eine echte Herausforderung. Das Segelboot steht jetzt wieder deutlich besser da als zuvor und die Innenkonstruktion ist endlich stabil. In late summer we visited the Marsa Shagra Village near Marsa Alam in the south of Egypt. Most of the time we dived from shore to explore the beautiful house reef in front of the village. From time to time we hopped on a zodiac to visit places like Abu Dabbab and the epic Elphinstone Reef, where we met a very friendly Giant oceanic manta ray during two of our dives. Marsa Shagra is definitly worth visiting because of the outstandig diving conditions. Hi everyone, This video is one of my favorites as it chronicles our amazing sail from the Marquesas to the Tuamotus a 400 nautical mile dash to the most coral infested waters we have ever seen. They actually delete the chart information within the atolls so you have to use your eyes and some satellite pics to stay off the "Bommies" (what they call coral heads) Come along as we enter our first "Atoll Pass" , meet some friends above and below the water along with some serious beachcombing and a wardrobe malfunction.
