We sailed here from Cabo Verde when the engine was showing it's aches and pains. So as soon as we anchored I asked master mechanic Arona if we could take out Simone the engine for a complete rebuild. Within a few days, Arona was lifting the Perkins out of the boat at our mooring and taking it to the beach and on to his bench.
