Watch Part 1 here - https://youtu.be/l7emPrny1AM It's all about the Duchy Difference - This is what I discovered on my recent to visit to Cockwells who not only build the Duchy Motor Yachts but also Hardy Motor Yachts and custom super yachts tenders for the worlds finest yachts. The Brand - https://cockwells.co.uk/duchy-launches/ Aussie Dealers - https://www.davismarine.com.au/ The Duchy 35 is quite clearly a beautiful vessel from every angle but she's also a fantastic day boat and capable weekender with two comfortable cabins. This is a vessel where the pictures really can do all the talking so I hope you enjoy. On the morning of January 31st, 1921, the five-master schooner Carroll A. Deering grounded on the Diamond Shoals in North Carolina in stormy weather. When rescue crews from Cape Hatteras were finally able to investigate the ghost ship days later, they found no one on board aside from three starving cats. After a quite magnificent launch party, the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team got down to business today with the first tow test runs of their stunning LEQ12 – the testing platform for the syndicate’s one-build AC75. Section 41. Reconnaissance a) As a campaign cost reduction measure, COR/D has mutually agreed to cooperatively implement a centralised reconnaissance programme for all teams for the reconnaissance of all Competitors’ AC75 Yachts, AC40 Yachts and LEQ12 yachts including both on-land and on-water imagery (the “Joint Recon Programme”). b) Each team is assigned a two-person Recon Unit to follow their every on-water move, but it's not that simple. The cameras are supplied and identical for all Recon Units. Drones are not allowed, and they can't get that close, plus following a boat and keeping a camera steady at 45 knots isn't that easy to begin with. c) A three minute interview follows each on water day, and teams must answer the Recon Unit's questions while trying not to give too much away. It's a raw, unedited view of the never before seen behind-the-scenes development of a team and their boat to win the oldest trophy in international sports. #AC37Recon #AmericasCup #Barcelona2024

This is CRAZY! But tons of fun! Alicia and I wanted to do some photos with items from the "Adventureborne Treasure". A secret treasure chest I've filled up with soo many unique & valuable items, that I've then burred somewhere in the Bahamas. Alicia being the model that she is was all too excited to play dress up and have fun with this photo shoot. But one thing led to another and the samurai sword got brought out! Check it out! . . Sailing Free Spirit. We packed up the RV for a 2 week vacation as we make our way to Annapolis for the US Sailboat show and YouTube booth. We made stops in Savannah, GA and to Annapolis. We did a bunch of shopping for SV Free Spirit as Bacon Sails and Marine picking up stuff for current projects and fixes that are needed. Andy is himself again as you hear him cracking his jokes all throughout the video. We hope you enjoyed our experience. The video this week is quite long as there was a lot of content to use. I didn’t get to use any of the video taken from the US Naval Academy where there was a lunch “meal roll call” which is really cool to see if you never have. We also toured the base and a local church inside. Please like, subscribe and share this video. You might call it a highlight reel, but it is really such a wonderful look into the real world of this famous sailing couple, who did not know sailing before they started, and learned all they know now, as well as more about each other, with a boat in tow, as well. Quite the task. Seven years in, and there are still smiles to be had...
The sight of a completely re-vamped Patriot, flying around Pensacola Bay at 18 knots is perhaps one of the most significant signs that the race for the 37th America’s Cup is well and truly on. Flying the flag of the New York Yacht Club, the most storied yacht club in the long history of the Cup, Patriot looks stunning in the late summer morning Florida breeze and the team seem to have found their rhythm quickly getting used to a plethora of changes and upgrades. In Barcelona, the strongest conditions so far greeted Alinghi Red Bull Racing as a steady 16-18 knots combined with a choppy sea made sailing tough for the young Swiss crew. The session began with a loud bang being heard as the mainsail was launched. Later we heard from Bryan Mettraux that a “boom support” had broken but the situation was rectified on the water and the mainsail launched just half an hour later.

Emirates Team New Zealand showed a clean pair of heels to the chase boats today as they hit tops speeds “in excess of 45 knots” and ripped around the waters of North Head in wind speeds that peaked at 24 knots with a mean at 18 knots. Emirates Team New Zealand continued its relentless commissioning and learning process in the world’s first AC40 on a light-weather day where the team needed a quick chase-boat tow to get on the foils with the breeze dropping below the 8-knot mark for solo flight. In summary afterwards, Ray Davies, the AC ‘coach of coaches’ was pleased with the day’s work: “Light air day today so it was good to see the boat performing well in that 7-9 knot range. Around 8 knots is what we needed today to take-off and then once we’re up we can foil and manoeuvre in a lot less than that. Today it was about 55 manoeuvres and the other day we went out it was nearly 90 manoeuvres so the boat’s performing incredibly well in those conditions; easy to sail and really good feedback from the guys and we’ve learned more and more. Every day we’ve gone out we’ve learned a lot and now we just feel really confident with the boat.” Section 41.
