Stakkurin is a sea stack, hundreds of feet above the ocean, at the northernmost point of the island of Streymoy in the Faroe Islands. The owners of Stakkurin have sheep grazing there and once a year they use a human pulled cable car to go out and bring back the sheep to sell at an auction in the village Tjörnuvík. In 2013 we were making our way up the Oregon coast when our friends the RV Geeks reached out and told us “you gotta stop by Waldport, we built a website for McKinley’s campground and they’d love to have a video to share about crabbing.” We did a little research on the campground and it turned out they sell shellfish licenses, rent boats, crab rings and everything else we’d need to “do it ourselves”. We were hooked on the idea and we promptly directed our RV north. The Oregon coast is simply breathtaking and it was our first crabbing experience and it was perfect! Essendo stato uno dei pochi fortunati che hanno potuto visitare il castello di Sammezzano, ho ben pensato di registrarmi il tour completo, per mostrare a coloro che non sono riusciti ancora ad entrare, la bellezza di questo castello in prima persona: proprio come se foste voi a visitarlo. Il mio consiglio, tuttavia, è quello di visitarlo di persona: le sensazioni che si provano durante la visita sono parte integrante del tour e non possono essere riprodotte in un video anche con l'attrezzatura e le capacità tecniche migliori. Mi auguro che il video possa rendere ogni persona consapevole dell'arte che si nasconde al suo interno, spingendole ad ampliare quel coro che desidera vedere il castello aperto al pubblico. Genau das sind die 4 Jungs aus dem oberfränkischen Raum, die seit Anfang des Jahres unter neuer Flagge die Bühnen erobern. OHNE GOTTES SEGEN ist das erste Werk das unter neuem Namen erscheint und spiegelt den Stil der Band einfach perfekt wieder. Deutsche Rockmusik mit eindringlichen Melodien und Texten die aus dem Leben gegriffen sind und einfach gerade raus wiedergegeben werden. Die ersten beiden Lieder bringen es kurz und knackig auf den Punkt. „Wir sind da“ und „Unbelehrt“ erklären sich von selbst und zeigen direkt, was die Band ausmacht. Kraftvolle Lieder wie „Ficken, Feiern, Saufen“ die zum durchdrehen und mitgrölen einladen bestimmen das Album, auf dem insgesamt 13 Songs zu finden sind. Geschmückt mit Texten, mit denen sich der Hörer leicht identifizieren kann, ergeben ein Gesamtbild, das trotzdem nicht mit Abwechslung geizt. Zum einen zeigt sich das, indem z.B. ein paar Ska-Klänge in dem Lied „Planlos“ durchkommen mit dem sich die Band gleichzeitig selbst aufs Korn nimmt. Zum Anderen befinden sich zwei Lieder auf der Scheibe bei denen der eigentliche Sänger den Hauptgesang an seinen Nebenmann weiter gibt. Dass die Jungs auch ruhig können, beweisen sie mit „Leinen los“ und der Ballade „Wie gerne könnt ich fliegen“ die sich mit dem Verlust eines wichtigen Menschen beschäftigt. Jedoch darf eine Botschaft an alle Kritiker wie „Haltet die Fresse“ nicht fehlen. Dieser Song wird zusätzlich noch als unplugged Version zu hören sein. Langeweile ist hier jedenfalls fehl am Platz, was die Jungs auch immer wieder live auf den Bühnen quer durch die Republik unter Beweis stellen. At the end of August ten sailors from six countries, supported by their coaches, attended the first ISAF Paralympic Development Program clinic in Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain. Led by Betsy Alison, US Sailing Paralympic Coach and Chair of the Disabled Sailing Committee, with support from Matt Grier, Royal Yachting Association Paralympic Development Coach and Jacob Haug, a 2.4mR coach sailors and coaches were put through their paces. Throughout the clinic sailors benefited from on-water expertise, sailing in the Paralympic one-person keelboat, the 2.4mR, as well as daily on-shore briefings. Man, I LOVE, my Cubic Mini wood burning stove. It really makes Eleanor a home, keeps her warm and dry, and I love the smell of a real fireplace in my home. What a fantastic addition!!!

Hobie’s Livewell XL is made for storing live bait on your Hobie Pro Angler. At maximum capacity, it carries approximately 1.37 times more water compared to the original Hobie Livewell, i.e. Livewell XL: 11gal (41.6L) vs. Livewell: 8gal (30.3L). Water intake and discharge flow through the Pro Anglers’ existing scuppers. A 6 volt sealed lead acid battery powers a high-flow Attwood pump that primes with a pickup tube when the pump is turned on and the Pro Angler is driven forward. Once the pump is primed it will continue to flow as long as the corrosion resistant power switch remains on. The switch can be turned off and the livewell plugged with a rubber cap for baits that prefer standing water. The adjustable drain provides water level options at 6 and 11 gallons, but it can be modified to drain at different levels if desired. A total of 4 rod holders are included with Livewell XL. 2 are mounted on the back corners and 2 more can be fastened with the provided hardware in preferred positions. More rod holders can be added.
