Começamos com a parte antiderrapante que estava pior, com a fibra de vidro a mostra em algumas partes, a Mae do Denham veio nos ajudar, levamos um dia inteiro colocando fita em voltas das parted q não era para ser pintadas e depois mais dois dias pintando com uma combinação de tintas e em cima um pó que da o efeito 'antiderrapante'. Pra finalizar for mais alguns dias polindo as partes lisas q leva 3 camadas de produtos diferentes ate chegar na cera e polimento final. Pensa nos braços cansados! Outros trabalhos nesse video incluem subida ao mastro para passar novas cordas de vela, troca dos equipamentos antigos de comunicação e instalação de novos equipamentos de navegação, preparação dos coletes salva-vidas com um equipamento q soa um alarme no barco e marca a localização caso um de nós caia na agua acidentalmente. Ao meio de muitos finais de semana de "trabalho" no barco a gente tenta sempre encaixar umas velejadas, nesse video vamos a região da Central Coast que fica na centro da costa de NSW e cerca de 3.8 horas ao Norte de Newport, onde mora a "Latitude". Para nós que ha 2 anos atras não sabíamos nada de concertos de barco, esses últimos anos tem sido de muito aprendizado, perguntando a Deus e o mundo (e o Google) como se fazem reparos e instalações, quebrando nossas cabeças, mas muito orgulhosos de estarmos conseguindo fazer a maioria dos trabalhos nós mesmos. Here are highlights from the 19-kilometer, 7-hour walk along the Tongariro Alpine Crossing on November 22, 2018. I made careful preparations and gave myself a few days to wait for decent weather. Do not underestimate the trail, terrain, or environment. There were two deaths on the trail in October/November 2018 - including one the day after I hiked it.

I may have caused our Whale water pump to explode. Chalk it up to a rookie mistake, but when I replaced our water lines, I inadvertently attached a pressurized water line to the non-pressurized foot pump. DOH! A bit of drama occurred when I flipped on the water pressure breaker for the first time. A minor explosion and a bit of theatrical screaming was the result. The solution, however, is to run a new non-pressurized water line through a very inaccessible area of the boat. Ah the unexpected joys and surprises of boat life! Thanks for watching!! We attend the annual 24 hour race on Southport lake. For a change we are doing the cooking rather than running a boat (as in the previous two years). After finding out my galley sink had a dramatic leak from a completely broken drain fixture, it was time to pull it out and replace it. After cutting off the old drain, it was time to install the new fixture, re-install the sink, and finish plumbing the drain hose.

If you had visited the Mengi Yay shipyard in the 1980s you would almost certainly have found them occupied in the construction of wooden gulets, and they built hundreds of them. Since then, they have evolved into an exciting yacht builder with some significant superyachts to their name, including the world's largest superyacht to be built from epoxy laminated wood. This video takes a look at how they have evolved, as I visited their facility in Tuzla, just outside Istanbul.
