Dica número 2: Estude Sobre a empresa. Qual a Missão, Visão, Valores. We searched and searched until we found the perfect truck to tow a 5th wheel. Not just any fifth wheel but a 5th wheel toy hauler - which is bloody heavy. What's the best truck for towing a 5th wheel? Well... that depends. It has everything to do with the weight of what you are towing. Which make? Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge? Don't read this if you want to be surprised by our truck reveal (it's pretty epic!) - But the best truck to tow a fifth wheel FOR US, was a 2018 Ford F350 Dually. The Ford F350 is a monster! Is it hands down a "better truck" than a comparable Chevy or Dodge? Nah. It's just the one that we found that would get the job done and that we liked. What about gas vs diesel? Is gas or diesel better to tow a fifth wheel? Short answer: if your trailer or fifth wheel is really heavy - over say 12,000 pounds, you may want to consider a diesel. They can simply tow more. Any truck can tow a trailer that doesn't weigh anything, but the best truck to tow something heavy is hands down a diesel. Should you get the best towing truck for your 1000-pound trailer? Nah, your F150 or Dodge 1500 is fine. But since we are full-time RV living now, we needed a big trailer and we needed a reliable towing truck. RV life is teaching us all kinds of stuff, and we'll share it all with you on this channel! What to get to tow an RV? We got you. Be sure to check the towing capacity of any truck you consider - directly from the manufacturer. Don't trust the sales guy! If you are enjoying our videos, please support us on Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/sailingmokara This is a story from a fellow sailor who had a completely different experience to ours sailing past the notorious Colombian coast. We had perfect conditions, even leaving the spinnaker up at night, which we normally never do. We knew this area was a hot spot for high winds and in turn very high seas. Which is why we didn't spend much time in Aruba. When the weather looked right we knew we had to go, or else we may be waiting a long, long time. We were lucky! We met Des, a fellow South African sailor who has sailed all the way here from South Africa single handed! Des left Sint Maarten in the Caribbean in perfect conditions. However whilst at sea and as he got closer to Colombia those conditions changed and he found himself in a life threatening situation with huge seas and no autopilot. With huge waves breaking into the cockpit he had the life raft ready to deploy should they need to. We had to tell Des's story to warn others of this notorious stretch of coast. Looking online it has caught many sailors off guard. It is rated at one of the 5 most dangerous areas in the world. This is Des's story - we think its an exciting one! Please remember to subscribe!

Sixteen years ago, Paul Foerster and Kevin Burnham of the U.S. Olympic Sailing Team captured the gold medal in the Men's 470 at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens over the 27-boat fleet. Foerster, a four-time Olympian, and Burnham, a three-time Olympian, had both medaled in the Olympics before. In three prior trips to the Olympic Games ('88, '92 and '00), Foerster had won two silver medals in the Flying Dutchman ('92), and the 470 ('00). Burnham earned a silver in the Men's 470 class in 1992. Foerster and Burnham joined forces in pursuit of a gold medal in 2004 and the pair succeeded triumphantly. With the win, Burnham became the oldest gold medal winner of all Team USA athletes at the 2004 Games. Foerster and Burnham were named Rolex Yachtsman of the Year for their gold medal performance. Gary Jobson catches up with these Olympic champions to reflect on their historic win and learn more about how they are engaging with the sport of sailing today.

So bascially I recently got my GTR 230 serviced and it had a couple of issues wrong with it. Which ended up costing quite a bit. Pretty much if I didn't get it looked at I could have sunk the ski as the Carbon seal was worn out.

Our race westward continues with a long 860nm passage from the island of Malta, located between the Sicily and the continent of Africa, to Cartagena, Spain. Following a breakage of our electric mainsail furler, we make landfall at Villasimius, on the southern tip of Sardinia, for repairs, then head over to Teulada as a launching point for completion of our route. Crossing the entirety of the Med proper takes us through 480nm of open sea, and of course a long trip like this couldn’t pass without some form of drama, in this case losing our 24v alternator and the battery charging that goes with it. But such is life. However, the seas and skies don’t disappoint, and although we’re faced with some motoring, once the winds pick up the sailing is amazing. sailing; sailing videos; cruising; monohull; oyster; oyster yachts; sailing vlog; sailing vblog; sailing channels

The way the world is these days, we think it is needed! https://www.sailingnandji.com/ Rainman offer a variety of water maker options to suit your lifestyle and your boats specific needs. If you are interested in purchasing a Rainman product head here https://bit.ly/3kceRpj We installed the 12 volt Naked system which makes 35 litres per hour (not the quoted 70 litres in the video) This video was filmed in May/June as the global covid-19 pandemic had taken a hold of the world. Neighbouring countries had closed their borders and Malaysia was in strict lock down until the end of June. If you would like to contribute towards Nandj videos, please use this link. We are unsure of what will happen next and what we will be required of us to do, potentially leave... As the world is changing so much we decide it is time that we need to be 100% self sufficient, which requires installing a water-maker. We had been getting very creative in our water collecting techniques recently, but with the potential that we could be asked to leave or just in case the zombies start roaming, we are ready to sail off into the distance to live out our days. After 4 years of bathing and washing in saltwater, it is time to shed the salty crust and have a fresh water shower! We install the Rainman naked 12V system, which can make up to 70 litres per hour and runs entirely from our Solar set up. Which means we make water from the SUN! Now that is self sufficient!! With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off from Australia sailing to the Pacific! We have since cruised through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and then onto the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the years to come. With a new engine, we continued onto Thailand, then back down into Indonesia and specifically West Sumatra to live the island life and chase the surf. With our Sailing plans changing, we returned to Thailand to wait for the weather and begin our journey to the northern route of the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka before heading south across the Indian Ocean once cyclone season has finished and the trade winds begin! We were on our shake down sail when the mooring we were on failed and our home ended up on the reef. We saved the old girl and got her back to the boat yard for repairs to continue on our adventure! Ready to sail across the Indian Ocean, we were only days away from leaving when the pandemic begun closing countries around us... We are stuck for now, but enjoying the slower pace! We departed the east coast of Australia in July 2017 and have since sailed over 10000nm offshore. We have explored some amazing countries and met some beautiful people along the way. We have experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our lives doing it! The adventure is just beginning as we sail West with the trades around the World! Watch part 1 of the CORONA CHRONICLES HERE! https://youtu.be/jf519zLD0QU We continue to explore Las Perlas islands during lockdown in Panama. The rainy season was approaching fast, but that didn't stop us making the best of the situation. We spent our days free diving, spear fishing, living off the land and meeting an amazing sailing community that was around. We are very grateful to be in such a privileged situation in times like this! SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged 2012 Lagoon 450 Catamaran bought in Tortola, BVI at the beginning of 2018. We sail under lock down in Costa Rica. Our arrival into Costa Rica could't have been timed any better. Just 4 days after arriving into the country, it went under full lock down. However, we didn't really notice any change because we live on a sailboat in our own little world and naturally social distance. We have no major agenda except sail and explore. But the exploring became limited to just the water and no inland adventures, which isn't all that bad all things considered. The only thing we really wanted to do while in Costa Rica was explore the many national park and nature reserves, see wildlife and adventure in the jungle. We welcome our buddy Trevor aboard, as he was already in the country before the boarders closed. Trevor joins us and plans to stick around until we can bring the boat up to the Sea of Cortez, which could be a while from now. We get our first real encounter with the reality of the lock down, and get stopped by the cops while we tried to set up for a beach bbq away from any other walks of life.
