The last time I visited the Custom Line shipyard the world was a very different place, and Corona was just a drink with a slice of lime in the bottleneck. Episode 137: We managed to finish up our electrical system tidy up. I thought Ricky was just being OCD about the whole thing but then realized how much neater but also safer our electrical is now. We added some MEGA Fuses (which took us so damn long to find by the way) which means we are protecting our systems which is always a good things. We also installed our DC to DC Converter.. I won't lie.. we both did not have faith that it was going to work.. well definitely not just with the one and boy did it prove us wrong. It works like a dream. The voltage is constant.. never dropping and our water maker is making water! It's fan freaking tastic!!! All part of BOAT LIFE: Another Task is DONE!! See ya next week!! Zo controleert Ben de dieseltank, waarvoor hij 'yoga oefeningen aan boord' moet doen :) Krabt en schuurt Ben de onderkant helemaal schoon. En bouwen we een tent om de boot heen, zodat Ben een nieuwe laag antifouling aan kan brengen. En heel veel andere klussen.... Kortom er is eigenlijk heel hard gewerkt! Wij zijn Ben en Felia. Sailing ORIZON - Segeln im Mittelmeer... Unsere letzten Tage in der Marina San Giorgio di Nogaro. In der Marina wurde es von Tag zu Tag heißer und wir wollten so schnell wie möglich los. Mussten uns dann allerdings noch ein paar Tage gedulden und auf unseren Außenborder und den Plotter warten. Als die Ausrüstung der Orizon dann endlich komplett war haben wir auch gleich abgelegt. Nun kann unser Törn losgehen. In unserer Zeit in der Marina haben wir viele nette Segler-Bekanntschaften gemacht und mussten uns nun auch schon wieder verabschieden. Aber bestimmt treffen wir den einen oder anderen bald wieder. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Our last days in the Marina San Giorgio di Nogaro. It was getting hotter in the marina every day and we wanted to leave as soon as possible. We then had to be patient for a few more days and wait for our outboard and plotter. When the equipment of the Orizon was finally complete, we immediately took off. Now our trip can start. During our time in the marina we made a lot of nice sailing acquaintances and now we had to say goodbye again. But we will definitely meet one or the other again soon.
