Wir haben es gut getroffen mit Französisch Polynesien und haben trotz Segelverbot und Lockdown viel erlebt. Zur Feier des Tages haben wir aus noch vorhandenem Material einen Film zusammen geschnitten. Südsee-Schnipsel. Südsee-Feeling. Südsee-Spaß. - Unser erstes Versorgungs-Schiff auf Gambier. Was für ein buntes Durcheinander an der Pier, wenn nach drei Wochen der Versorger eintrifft. - Auf Tahiti gibt es für Kreuzfahrgäste regelmäßig kostenlose Shows der Tänzer von den Marquesas. Zufällig waren dabei - in der ersten Reihe. - Unsere Wanderung zum Kopf vom Fautau-Wasserfall auf Tahiti. Unsere schönste Wanderungen in Französisch Polynesien - Ein Abstecher nach Makatea. Das gehobene Atoll mit der zusammen gebrochenen Verladebrücke auf der früher Phosphor auf Frachter geladen wurde. - Tikehau in den Tuamotu mit rosa Strand und Südsee-Atmosphäre. Wir, Joachim und Sabine, sind die Crew der Atanga. Wir sind am 01. Juni 2014 in Hamburg gestartet. 2015: Kanarischen Inseln 2016: Kapverdische Inseln, im Februar 2016 unsere Atlantik-Überquerung nach Französisch Guyana. Dann kleine Antillen und noch einmal die Guyanas und Suriname mit der Nereid’s Rally. 2017: ABC-Inseln (nur BC), Mexiko und Belize. In Mexiko haben wir eine dreiwöchige Rundreise im Landesinneren unternommen. Im Anschluss kamen Providencia und Kolumbien Festland (ebenfalls mit einer dreiwöchigen Rundreise) und die San Blas Inseln in Panama. 2018: Wir wurden im Januar in Panama vom Blitz getroffen. Die Reparatur dauerte drei Monate. Nach der Passage durch den Panama Kanal haben wir den Rest des Jahres in Ecuador verbracht und fünf Wochen das Landesinnere erkundet. 2019: Osterinsel, Gambier, Tuamotu und Gesellschaftsinseln. 2020: Die Corona-Krise hat uns in Gambier (Franz. Polynesien) erwischt. Wir werden sehen, wohin der Wind uns treibt und wie weit wir kommen.

Después de mas de 25 años navegando, esta ha sido una de las travesías mas duras que hemos tenido, no solo por el viento, no solo por ir a dos, si no por la mar que se estableció al segundo día de navegación. Menos mal que íbamos rápido y no tardamos mas de 4 días, si no..... un locura. Esta travesía ya me lo dijeron, en cualquier mes menos en julio o agosto...... pues dicho y hecho.

We have since cruised through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and then onto the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the years to come. With a new engine, we continued onto Thailand, then back down into Indonesia and specifically West Sumatra to live the island life and chase the surf. With our Sailing plans changing, we returned to Thailand to wait for the weather and begin our journey to the northern route of the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka before heading south across the Indian Ocean once cyclone season has finished and the trade winds begin! We were on our shake down sail when the mooring we were on failed and our home ended up on the reef... We saved the old girl and got her back to the boat yard for repairs to continue on our adventure! Ready to sail across the Indian Ocean, we were only days away from leaving when the pandemic begun closing countries around us... We are stuck for now, but enjoying the slower pace as we have just had our first baby, born in Malaysia! Now completing our second major refit, Nandji is ready for the world when the world is ready for us!!! We departed the east coast of Australia in July 2017 and have since sailed over 10000nm offshore. We have explored some amazing countries and met some beautiful people along the way. We have experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our lives doing it!
