Este caso el velero como podéis ver estaba perfecto, con mas de 15 años presentaba un aspecto inmejorable, se puede apreciar que hacia tiempo que no navegaba, estaba sucio, pero se puede ver que el anterior armador lo tenia muy cuidado., si hubiera mas dudas sobre el estado de algún equipo, o sobre la estructura, mi recomendación es que contratéis a un técnico, tanto estructuras como en motor.

So after having been using a caravan for many years, we knew some of the drawbacks with gas. Our two most significant concerns were how do we get more gas in a foreign country and how do we make sure that we have continuous gas doing the night. We have updated the campervan with a system that automatically switches from one bottle to the next upon it being empty. And then we went on a hunt to get some gas bottle that was not too heavy and could be refilled, which we found in Poland. We use every sail on board in tricky wind conditions heading north from Cape Upstart and along the way some friendly whales put on a great show for us. We usually bypass Cape Bowling Green due to its rolly reputation but with a reasonable weather forecast we decided to anchor for the night. But of course, the forecast proves to be wrong and we have a very lumpy time on anchor then a rough sail to Magnetic Island. As if we didn't see enough salt, we get even more salty than we normally do by visiting The Salt Pans of Bonaire. With the wind in our hair, these 'salty sea dogs' take off on a very unplanned adventure by scooter around the south side of Bonaire (part of the ABC islands). You can take the sports car away from the man, but you cannot take the speed out of the demon!! 😉 James loves a bit of speed and knowing this I got on a motorcycle reluctantly, but excited to explore one of the worlds most beautiful islands and natural reserve. As I relaxed on the scooter, we discover some of Bonaire's history and wildlife, seeing flamingos in their natural habitat and learning as we went. We visit the incredible salt flats that provide over 500,000 metric tonnes of salt to Europe, Asia and North America every year.
