Lead for Baximus and Mousmoulo in the Aegean Regatta 2021 Category News 2021 23 Aug 2021 08:07 With coastal races off Rhodes completed on Monday August 23 Aegean Regatta 2021, the international regatta organized for 20 the year of the Aegean Sea. With the completion of the third race from Symi to Rhodes, the situation in the boats that have the lead for the victory became quite clear, as the Baxemus of Thanasis Baxevanis in the ORC Performance category and the Mousmoulo with Nikos Koumnakis from ASIATH Rhodes as the captain, ORC Sport, are at the forefront. Impressive performance by Thanasis Stergianos' Mamma Aiuto who won the first place, while the Russian Theodora entered the top three in ORC Sport.

It is always a great day on the water when you are joined by these majestic creatures. This playful Dolphin raced us down the run during the first race of the Quoile 2 day regatta. The foredeck often complains about all the pressure put on them to keep up with all the sail changes and mark roundings. No complaints today as he took time out to become our on board video reporting. It is a good sign of the health of Strangford lough when these guys are venturing in. It has been a few years since the team at bottom up boats have spotted any Dolphins hopefully we don't have to wait as long until the next encounter as it always turn a good days sailing into a great days sailing.

Après notre périple depuis les Açores, nous avons pris quelques jours de farniente à Portimao qui est une ville touristique de l'Algarve . Un très beau moment de détente puis nous avons rejoins Faro par beau temps et belle mer.

Partiti il 7 luglio dal Sud della Tunisia, adesso Horus e io siamo nel porticciolo di San Nicola l'Arena, a poche miglia da Termini Imerese, in Sicilia. Poco più di 600 miglia percorse senza tante difficoltà. La piccola Horus, lunga solo 10 metri, si è comportata benissimo, sia in altura che sotto costa, con venti forti e mare formato, ma anche con le "ariette". Partis le 7 juillet du sud de la Tunisie, maintenant Horus et moi sommes dans le petit port de San Nicola l'Arena, à quelques kilomètres de Termini Imerese, en Sicile. Un peu plus de 600 milles parcourus sans trop de difficultés. Le petit Horus, de seulement 10 mètres de long, s'est très bien comporté, à la fois sur les hauteurs et sous la côte, avec des vents forts et une mer agitée, mais aussi avec les "brises". We are fulltime liveaboards, sailing and living on our new sailboat Sea Bee an Elan 45’ in Croatia during 2021. We embark on a 30-day passage to explore Croatia from southern to the northern Adriatic. We set sail from Slano (near Dubrovnik) and travel 270 nautical miles up north to Pula in this video. We share some beautiful anchorages, marinas, unspoiled islands, great sites, and expenses along the way. We quit our high-tech jobs in California and moved to a sailboat full-time in Medeteranniann. It's windy out in the lagoon so we escape it by going underwater and exploring the island. Soph gets stung by something weird. We have dinner on our good friend Myles boat with some new friends we met and we share a Mackerel we were given by some more fortunate fishermen. This place is so good we are left wondering how we will ever leave... Oh never mind that, the wind decides to blow gale overnight and we can't wait to escape in the morning... We brave the wind and make a dash when the sun has risen and the tide has dropped, back out through the narrow coral entrance (now an exit) and into deep water. We throw in a reef and hoon out away from the island to head to safer waters and our next destination. We sail Seagull from Campbletown to Carradale Bay, where we anchor for the night and spend the day swimming, cooking on the beach and watch the moon rise. We drag anchor early the next morning and leave earlier than expected for Tarbet. Here we eat more fresh seafood and then have a relaxing sail to Tighnabruaich in full sunshine, we can hardly believe its Scotland. After drinks at the hotel who provide serviced mooring buoys at no charge we have a restful nights sleep. The next morning we head ashore for breakfast before we sail to Port Banantyne. After a nights rest we move onto James Watt Dock to pick up further crew. This video shows you some possibilities for sailing to Bahia de Concepcion from Marina Puerto Escondido aboard a West Coast Multihulls charter catamaran. A five day trip is a little rushed, but still super fun and there is enough time to see the sights, snorkel, fish, and enjoy sailing. Take 6 days if you want a little more leisurely pace. West Coast Multihulls currently (Fall 2021) has 2 catamarans to charter in Marina Puerto Escondido and 2 catamarans based in La Paz. The La Paz boats can be delivered to MPE if you want to charter either one of those boats to visit Bahia Concepcion.
