We get a lot of questions about bulkheads. How does Privilège build bulkheads? We build our own using a closed-cell foam product called Divinycell that doesn't allow moisture to migrate through it. It is sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass to create a solid product that we cut into the required shapes. The hull and deck are absolutely bonded - when the bulkheads are attached to the hull, we sand for perfect adhesion and we take the time to tape and wet the entire bulkhead right down to the bilges.

Lo combinamos en la parte final con 3 días de hotel en un Resort donde pudimos descansar de otra forma, realizando actividades como las motos de agua, winsurf o picht and putt. A parte fué el aniversario de nuestros padres y les realizamos una boda sorpresa de 50 años de casados, fué una experiencia para todos increíble.

Another land adventure on another Hawaiian Island. After finding an anchorage that allowed us to comfortably leave the Wolfhound for a couple days, we rented a car and drove the infamous Road to Hana around Maui. Don't go chasing waterfalls, they said...but honestly that's exactly what we did. Waterfalls, bamboo forests, pineapples, bananas, red beaches, black beaches, windy turns and big cliffs! Sailing a Seawind 1600 to the Jewel of the Maine Coast to Escape a Hurricane | Harbors Unknown Ep 41 With Hurricane Henri barreling up the east coast we decided not to take any chances, nixed our plans to explore Casco Bay, and beelined it north, sailing our Seawind 1600 catamaran first to Tenants Harbor, then to a protected mooring in Vinalhaven. Thankfully we only saw rain and fog and once the weather broke we headed out to explore this area of Penobscot Bay, known as the jewel of the Maine coast, and boy did it live up to its reputation. We had been looking forward to exploring Maine by boat for twenty years. And it was better than we had imagined. A constantly changing landscape, tides revealing secret beaches and hidden lagoons, majestic evergreen trees lining the shores. And we had it all to ourselves, a private oasis. A group of 4 of us hiked the Wonderland Trail in the early month of September 2021 in a total of 6 days, 94 miles and 22,000 feet of elevation gain. This hike was no joke, it was either up or down but the views were out of this world! Das erste 1:1 Bushcraft Seminar, das wir je gemacht haben! Eigentlich unfreiwillig, weil mehrere Leute für eine kleine Gruppe angemeldet waren und dann aber kurzfristig absagen mussten. Aber es war sehr toll, und so intensiv, dass ich fast immer vergessen habe die Kamera mitlaufen zu lassen. Oft wäre es auch völlig unpassend gewesen. Deswegen ist diese Episode nur ein paar Minuten lang! Ich wollte dieses Wochenende aber nicht ganz unerwähnt lassen. Es wird in diesem Jahr noch ein oder zwei Events dieser Art geben.
